I was afraid of that...Already ordered the chalice for my reo mini. Can anyone confirm that it needs adapter?

It will say that until it arrives and is scanned in at US customs. Then you may get an update that it leaves customs and is on its way to you. Or you may not, and it may not update until after you've actually received the package. International tracking through USPS is spotty at best.

This is a FACT. As I mentioned way back in the thread, I got to try out the prototype (thanks, Clyde!) awhile back, and it's really, really, REALLY nice. I can't WAIT to get mine. I have been accumulating about 4-5 different kinds of wicking material to try out: I have 100% cotton balls (that I stretch out then braid), I have 100% organic cotton yarn, 100% cotton cheesecloth, #400 SS mesh, #325 SS mesh, and 32gauge Kanthal A wire.....I'm so ready for this it's pitiful.

I have my 32 guage Kanthal wire. I'm still waiting on my 400 SS mesh. I think that I want to pick up some generic VG to help oxidize my wick. I assume I can just go to a drug store and pickup anything that says USP on it.

You can even get it from Wal-Mart. Like davelog says it's in the skin care section, called glycerin.

I usually get mine at Walmart....it's by the alcohol usually, and goes under the name Homeco. Also I have bought some at CVS pharmacy....but it's a little more expensive....still cheap.

I've also bought some from my "hippie grocery" (health food/organic grocery)....under the name of "Now" glycerin. As long as it says USP grade, it's good.

Mark posted some pics of the Chalice on a REO in his supplier thread. I still can't tell if that coil is laying on the base or a smidgen above it. Looks great though.
