Darn, I always just miss Bob when he stops in.

Bob, some posts back you talked about mixing the FlavourArt tobaccos and you've had good results. One of the things I've picked up in reading about these flavors is that they do mix well. And, for many, that is the preferred method. The only mix I have done so far is Cowboy and Latakia with Cowboy being the dominant. Very nice. Latakia gives it a nice smokey edge.

I picked up Maxx Blend and Oryental 4. Both are steeping; I'll probably give them another week. For some reason I started vaping some fruits and I like them as a change. I like Capella's but bought a few of FlavourArt's. I haven't mixed any of those.

I will probably try mixing some of the tobaccos as you have done. A future thing to try. Really love the Desert Ship on its own.

Blues - Yeah I've noticed when I click on over here that the discussions are usually over. Or they haven't started yet. Am I the only one living in the Pacific Time Zone? Seems like it.

A lot's going on at Casa Alex in Beautiful British Columbia these days. My Sweetie's getting her grad degree, just started a full-time paid internship job that'll last until the end of August, and juggles that with a full time load o' classes. Busy busy around here.

Having three flavors of e-liquid to start with means I've got loads of combinations to play around with. So far ... I've liked 'em all. As soon as I get the slushpile moved from the in-box to the out-box I'll finish up the sequel to last year's video:



This year's focus will be on The Elite, The Leo, and the Tank for the Go-Go.

Saw some discussion about that on the DV thread. Someone suggested a piece of rubber or something and slide like a battery cover.....that's probably not precise....but it is in the DV forum. There were a couple other suggestions too..

So I got a new CE4 Clearomizer with the Ovale I bought. I got the battery case off. Yay. But it always tastes burnt unless I drip right into the little metal thing on the top. What's with that?

I keep tilting it up, and I am keeping it filled to the brim. Still tastes burnt. I must be doing something wrong?

30% * PG
20% * VG
40% * FlavourArt Pear (in my defense, pear is a subtle flavor)

Anyone try to make their own homemade RY4 flavor?

RY4, the elusive flavor. Two mixing flavors I like are TPA RY4 Double and FlavourArt Oryental 4. They are both different. That doesn't mean you will like them. Just something I'm throwing out there to you.

My favorite is SI RY4. But, again, just something I'm throwing out to you. It's different from any RY4 I've ever tasted.

My current ry4 is from Awesome Vapor. I intend to try a few more because supposidley AV's ry4 is bland. And thanks Sandy. Its been my online handle since I was 13. I really loved the bloody roar games, but everyone was using the name Yugo, so I added a random ending to it. Shavia Xd.

Aren't you tired of this heat?!? When is it going to cool off? BTW, I was going to ask if anyone here drips. One of my gfriends sent me some Janty RY4 and told me it's best to drip. I have an IKV Cannon but will accept any advice to get the best hit.

And it happened again!

Operator error.

I went outside with two, count 'em two batteries: A Go-Go and a Leo. I was going to be gone for hours. Unthinkingly I strolled out of the house with batteries that had 4 - 5 drags left in 'em. The last time that happened was in my second week of vaping when I didn't have a clear idea just how long KR808 batteries might last. Not Long Enough.

When The Go-Go and Leo went blinky ... all my 2 plus years of vaping know-how was ... well ... vaporized and I was smack-back in Noob-town. I didn't go nuts. After a bout of being chagrined I flipped into persevere mode.

Eventually ... I got home, grabbed a fresh Leo and Go-Go, and vaped my way back to happiness.

That Will Never Happen Again.

Y'see the Go-Go can lull you into a false sense of security. That 1300 mAh batt lasts for days. One of the problems with advancing geezerhood, for me anyway, is misplaced faith. Along with an increasingly flaky short term memory.

Lesson Of The Day (a.k.a Note to Self):

Just because the Go-Go fired up perfectly for 3 days ... doesn't mean it'll last another 4 - 5 hours. It means it should go back on the charger.

Other than my own stoopidity ... Another beautiful British Columbia Day. Sun was out, Mid 70's, hanging out with the guy who used to be in school all day.

As we were leaving the pizza place, he slipped his hand in mine (a rarity for that 12 year old boy) and said he was having a good time fartin' around with his dad.
