Initial comment:

Looks nice. Sturdy. Possibly a must-have.

Things it should have (all): Storage for
- 1 complete unit or 1 battery
- 1/2 atomizer(s)
- 1/2 juice bottle(s)
- 1-5 cartridge(s)

Things that would be nice to have (this or that):
- Inner foam lining in case dropped
- PCC capability
- Wrist lanyard
- Belt clip
- Rocket-propelled, Juice-feeding Brain Mechanism *

* Sorry, I had to

Its not annoying me, allthough i should be in bed by now.. but stuff to do :)

But to answer your question, let me ask you one: Dont you think we should start by me making the video review, then see if the general interest in this is there to produce it, and _then_ decide on a color scheme? =)

Of course! But didn't your mum teach you not to answer a question with a question? :p

Oh noes... my mum probably taught me very bad then.. cause she always answered my questions with a question. Like if i was to say "Can i have a sandwich", and she would reply "I dont know, can you? You have arms right?"

.. And you do take after your role models right? :)

LOL! Sounds like a very clever mum you have there. But did she also teach you not to keep people waiting too long?

I was going to ask about the charger but you are right :)
Basic question, I may be wrong or misunderstood something: I know you are working on a new filter, will that be ok with the case ?
Also, giving that this is only meant for protection/short periods of time, is it necessary to have the big part that holds carts/attys ? One atty should be more than enough (the one in the fully assembled ego) and maybe will help in making the case smaller (or thicker, sorry, my English).
Right now I am undecided whether to give it a go or not.

Hi Tomoiaga,

The new tesla filter will fit ofcourse.

The big parts that holds carts attys, i am not sure what you mean? But we have decided to make it this size because it can then hold a variety of things. I mean i might take 3 atomizers and 3 filters with each their flavor in them - or i can take one atomizer and 5 carts. Or a piece of paper towel + 3 filters.

This way it is setup so everyone can customize what they want to carry, rather than have only room for say one cart and one atomizer, but having a smaller case.

Thanks for the vid Mik.

I like and would buy if reasonably priced, for which I'll remain as secretive as you ;)

I also like the idea of a of a uniform size case vice the bulge, and in all honesty, that would indeed be a deciding factor. You explained it rather well in your vid. This is not meant as a WE case, but a going about for a day out or night out.

IMHO a case needs only to carry the following:

  • a 3ml bottle of liquid;
  • a few spare carts 2-3;
  • a spare atty (which you have on the spare eGo); and
  • a spare batt, in this case a complete eGo, which is fine.
The aforementioned with the one we have in our shirt will last heavy vapers a day easily and I am a heavy vaper. I believe making the size uniform , you could easily fit 2 x 3ml bottles of liquid (at one end) and 2-3 spare carts (at the other) , more than enough to see you through the day. If you need more carrying capacity than that, you need a purse IMHO.

Thanks Mik, looks like a good useful design for the eGo and will definitely be looking forward to seeing the finished product when it becomes available.

The button lock ring is a great feature to have just in case to prevent misfires and will be a welcome addition for my kits.

All the best, Happy Vaping,
Wing.

Watching the video right now.
It might be a little too big for me. I really need something that can be carried comfortably in my pants pocket.

That said, that ring protector is awesome, and definitely necessary and would fit most of my needs on a day to day basis. My main need with a case is to simply keep the eGo from firing off in my pocket accidently.

BUT - I know myself.
And in the end, if you sell this... and if it is reasonably priced, I will buy it.
Actually, I would buy two - one for me, and one for my wife.

Hm, I should ask her what she thinks of this.

WOW, Mik.. Very nice ...
I do believe if you put felt in the area where the carts and xtras go so the rattle sound is muffled and not too loud would be good. The battery protection button pcs are a very nice idea..
I would buy one.. Looks good enough to me..
Maybe the ends could be like hinged? so as not to lose them? and this way they could clip closed...
Not really much of anything else to do but now to put it into production..
Great job and will keep an eye out for when it will be put on the site..
Thanks Mik...
