Herro everyone!

So here is a list of what some of you said, and my answers - and thanks all for commenting!

Maybe the ends could be like hinged? so as not to lose them? and this way they could clip closed...

This would be hard, seeing as the lids are rubber and the case is plastic - so this would require two component moulds, which are expensive. I do know what you are saying though - and yes it is possible to do it with hinges, but to be honest i think it will become annoying very very quickly -and this thing is not ment to be opened and closed 4 times a minute :)

IMHO a case needs only to carry the following:
a 3ml bottle of liquid;
a few spare carts 2-3;
a spare atty (which you have on the spare eGo); and
a spare batt, in this case a complete eGo, which is fine.

The design is made to meet as many different requirements from as many different people at once : Thats not easy. So while you might use it for something and want it a bit smaller, i know other people that really do like the extra options. I mean yes, - right now we want this and that, but what happens next month when another mod, or another new filter-type carto is being released? Things change, and by making it slightly bigger than what it "could" have been, there is hopefully and probably always room for that extra little thing you want. Atleast thats the way i thought of it, when i did it!

As it is right now I think the accessory compartment is a little too big for my taste. I don't really need it to hold that much for going out for a day.

I dont know about you, but where ever I go I always bring tissue paper - just in case of accidents. I usually keep this in my pocket - now i can keep it in here. Again, it is a matter of what you do want to use it for.

I like...what price range where yall thinking of selling these at?

No clue - but it wont be considered expensive in this form

Needs a belt clip/loop and it sounds good to me.

.... what is it with you USA guys and belt clips? =) While i know this is something "alot" of you people in here want, then i do have to try and make it for the "world" rather than the US - and generally, in Europe atleast i know that belt clips and the likes are really not something you want to be caught dead with :) Each to their own ofcourse, - but for now, this wont be able to put on a belt clip! It would be too bulky for it anyway - even if i dont think it is big, then its just not shaped for it in its current form!

Can you guys roll out a 5 pack of the button protectors ASAP?!

We are talking about producing these immediately - but i will let you all know ofcourse

I didn't hear any mention of whether this will accommodate the planned XL eGo batteries.

It wont. Basically this is designed for the original eGo. However you will be able to put an eGo XL battery inside where it should hold the eGo - and since you can use your eGo with the ring protector on, then this means it is possible for you to travel while both having an XL eGo in your pocket, and a spare XL battery in your carry case.

If you're going with the "cigar tube" motif, then how about a modular design. By that I mean the case has different tubes sections that you can swap out to meet your needs.

I did think about that, but this would cost alot - you have to consider that making anything extra, requires a separate mould - moulds cost cash :) So in order to make this a cheap, but nice accessory we want to keep it simple. If we were to do what you are suggesting, then it would cost 2-3 times as much in the end.

the lack of a belt loop or clip...combined with the rubberized coating...the rubberized coating makes it slightly harder to slide easily into or out of a pocket because it's...well..ruberized....so it catches on fabric... So without a belt loop or clip it should be smooth so it slides easily into a pocket.

The rubberized coating is simply for the prototype. This can be done in any color and with any texture. I personally want the IPOD white :) So dont worry about the coating. We should be able to offer a variety of colors and textures.

Oh and I'm also not really feeling the love for the button protector as it is...it totally destroys the lines of your sleek beautiful design of the pv...maybe if you could use a thinner material and make it smaller and more formed so that it fits down into the ring of the silver band so that it runs flush with the rest of the pv body and only "bubbles" or protrudes to protect the button...

I honestly think the button protector is beautiful and compliments the original design very well. That is just my opinion though. As for the thinner material, that wont be possible - you might not be able to see it from the video but that is VERY thin as it is.

I don't want to be down on your design...just give a 100% honest opinion.

I expect nothing less - thats why i posted it :)

Only question I would have would be whether or not the storage compartment section could be spaced out in a way that you could fit cartridges in at one end as shown but also have the ability to toss an extra battery (just the battery no cone or atty attached) into the other end for those who want to be able to bring an extra battery along.

Well if you take out the 10ml liquid, you can put TWO eGo batteries in that compartment.. and yes you can still close the lid :) So i did think about that. You could then use the other compartment for a 3 ml bottle for instance + an atty + a few filters. Heck you can fill up the entire place that the eGo should be in with filters, or attys. Or you could get a custom bottle of liquid that holds 40ml to fit in there. The possibilities are endless - and thats why its not tiny - and not large either. I mean look at the picture i did post of it - consider the size of your own eGo ( if you have one ofcourse ) in real life, and then compare to that picture. It IS really not that large. True it is "bulky" but i dont think it is extreme in anyway.

Hope you can use the answers! And once again, thanks for checking out the video and posting comments - much appreciated!

In the part of the video where you put the charger in that section I thought it looked deep enough to hold a battery in there but obviously couldn't be certain. But since you didn't mention it in the vid that is why I figured I would ask the question ;)

I think with that capability and the fact that you can fit the necessities, plus just about anything that each individual may want to carry that others don't, it will work well as is. :thumb:

Thanks - my thoughts exactly.

(from a Texan who wouldn't be caught dead with a belt clip... contrary to the stereotypes)

I really like the case and I can see the possibilities of being able to carry what I or most people would need. I heard you mention the lanyard and it sounded as if you were talking about the lanyard attached to the case. I have a question and or idea. Truly love the button protector, really think that is a great idea. Now what if you were able to make it so a lanyard can be attached to the button protectors? Does it clip onto the eGo tight enough that you think this may work? If so, it would be easy to be able hang an eGo around your neck.

Looks very promising. I probably wouldn't use a lanyard that often, but can definately think of times where it would come in handy. The belt clip was a good idea, but it'd be nice if it were removable. I don't have an eGo "yet". By this weekend I will though :). No need for a charger IMO when the battery life is so good, but if you could plug that guy in and charge while in the case would be cool. That way when I leave for work in the morning it's just one thing to have to grab and run out the door.
