As it is right now I think the accessory compartment is a little too big for my taste. I don't really need it to hold that much for going out for a day. If I really need to take that many attys and juice with me then I'll just use my $5 USB case. What I'm really looking for is something sleek and small that I can put in my front pants pocket and take with me anywhere. All I really want it to do is protect my eGo from getting scratched and stop the button from pressing. Being able to hold 1 extra atty and a 3ml bottle would be a nice addition. Add room for more than that and it starts getting too big. I'd rather the size of the accessories compartment be about the same size as the hole for the eGo. It looks like there's a divider in between it so on one side I could fit an atty and the other I can put in a 3ml bottle--all I need.

Needs a belt clip/loop and it sounds good to me.I am a flavor changer through the day and this would work well for carrying a few 6mls and carts plus an extra battery and atomiser.I'm thinking below 30 bucks.

PCC's cost $25 so I would think the price would be lower for a case with no onboard charger.

I agree with everyone on the button cover. Excellent idea and very useful. I could see keeping this loaded in my car console for longer trips. I have a hard shell mini eyeglass case from Wally World that works just fine in my pocket for day to day use.
I didn't hear any mention of whether this will accommodate the planned XL eGo batteries. I would hate to buy a case and then find I can't use the longer battery later.
In any event, I'll be wanting to buy a pack of button covers.

I saw the picture of the prototype before seeing the vid (vid came at a later time). From just the picture, it appeared you were going with an eyeglass case (clamshell) design, but the vid shows otherwise.

If you're going with the "cigar tube" motif, then how about a modular design. By that I mean the case has different tubes sections that you can swap out to meet your needs.

For example, the primary tube would hold only one complete unit, but the tube has a female dovetail groove along its length. If the user just wants to carry a single unit, they can slide a pocket/belt clip attachment (with a male dovetail) into the groove.

A second attachment for the primary tube could be for carrying cartridges or 3ml bottles of liquid. This attachment consists of two narrow tubes that would look like the number eight from a bird's eye view.

This second attachment has a male dovetail for connecting with the primary tube and a female dovetail on the opposite side for an additional attachment.

A third attachment tube would hold an additional battery and a larger bottle of liquid (15/20ml?). This third attachment would appear identical to the primary (one long cigar tube), have a male dovetail, and can attach directly to the primary tube or the secondary attachment.

---

By making it modular, the user can decide what he needs in a given situation. He might want just a single tube for one unit. He may want just the unit and a spare battery/15ml juice. The choice is open rather than fixed.

Here are some combinations with this design:

O = Primary tube (One complete unit)
: = Belt/Pocket clip
8 = Secondary attachment (2 small long tubes for 4 or more carts/3ml juice bottles)
D = Third attachment (extra batt on bottom/15ml juice on top)
{symbols represent a top / down view}

Just carrying one unit - O
- One complete unit only

Primary with pocket/belt clip - O:
- One complete unit only with pocket/belt clip

Primary with secondary cart/3ml attachment - O8
- One complete unit with several cartridges and/or 3ml bottles

Primary with 2 secondary cart/3ml attachments - O88
- One complete unit, even more cartridges and/or 3ml bottles

Primary with third attachment: OD
- One complete unit, 1 spare battery, 1 15ml bottle

Primary with secondary and third attachment: O8D
- One complete unit, several cartridges and/or 3ml bottles, 1 spare battery, 1 15ml bottle

Primary with secondary and 2 third attachments: O8DD
- One complete unit, several cartridges and/or 3ml bottles, 2 spare battery, 2 15ml bottles

Etc..

Note: I was going to open a graphic program to create better illustrations than the ASCII examples (above), but it isn't worth the time if it isn't even going to be considered. If considered, I can provide clearer visuals.

Thoughts?

EDIT: Forgot to add one more suggestion...

For the ring clip (button protector), if you're going to make a ring clip, it should also function like a pen/pocket clip. Have it 'snap on' like the current prototype, but include a clip into the design so it can clip onto your shirt/pant pocket for added functionality. Protects the button and aids in transporting the unit.

Ok...honest opinion
I'm not digging it...and here's why

1) with the plans for the XL eGo batteries it doesnt look like it'd be long enough to fit the new upcoming batteries
2) the lack of a belt loop or clip...combined with the rubberized coating...the rubberized coating makes it slightly harder to slide easily into or out of a pocket because it's...well..ruberized....so it catches on fabric... So without a belt loop or clip it should be smooth so it slides easily into a pocket.
3) the bulk of the accessory side...I'd rather see something designed to carry 2 fully assembled eGos with XL batteries (and you could use one of the slots to carry 2 6ml bottles, or a 6 ml bottle and 2 carts) and it would have a smaller form factor..because I carry 2 fully assembled loaded with 2 different flavors (but it'd allow for carrying an extra of every part if others don't)
4) you're saying that it's not a WE case but an out on the town case...really right now it's looking as something half way between the 2..

Oh and I'm also not really feeling the love for the button protector as it is...it totally destroys the lines of your sleek beautiful design of the pv...maybe if you could use a thinner material and make it smaller and more formed so that it fits down into the ring of the silver band so that it runs flush with the rest of the pv body and only "bubbles" or protrudes to protect the button...

I don't want to be down on your design...just give a 100% honest opinion.

Yep I love it and I would buy one as soon as they come out. This would be the perfect Travel case. ATM i am using a pouch that is a bit to big. I do carry a lot of thing in it but i want something for when i am out and about.

I also love the Rings. I think the only thing that i would add to it is a inlet to accommodate a strap, i don't know for some reason I like for things like this to have a Strap.

I think it looks pretty good as is.

Only question I would have would be whether or not the storage compartment section could be spaced out in a way that you could fit cartridges in at one end as shown but also have the ability to toss an extra battery (just the battery no cone or atty attached) into the other end for those who want to be able to bring an extra battery along.
