Would you Like to see the eGo with color options

  • Yes, I would buy a colored ego over what is available right now.

  • No, I am satisfied with the current options.

Well, you're right. That's one dim light, but I like what Mik had to say about that being a design element, and after using it I agree. Unlike other e-cigs I've tried, there isn't a diminishing return as the battery wears down. When it's done, the LED blinks it just doesn't produce vapor. Not paying attention to a light is a bit of a mental hurdle to get over, just because of previous training, but I think I prefer it now.

I got a regular battery cover and one with a ring with both of the V3's I ordered. But I didn't get a wall adapter like a lot of people have gotten (Don't really need one, I already have one for my iPhone that works just fine). I know my brother would love a battery cover with the ring as well. Maybe they can add them to accessories?

I boil new attys and cartos, if they are flavored, for 15 min at a little over med high. It gets all that junk out of them

GoodDog, what is that filter you speak of?

Also did you see anything about a six month warranty when you got it? On anothedr post I read the guy at Dietsmokes said there is that long of a warranty on it. That may just be for his site though.

I bought the batts and stuff from TW to move up from my 510 to 808 cartos, ect. but I'm going to sell my 510 starter kit to a bud and buy the Ego kit as I like the Mega Charge USB Power that comes with it.

I'm a relative newb so I'm only familiar with dripping and filling the carts by popping out the stopper in the back of the carts. I haven't used blue foam, tea bags or straw methods yet.

I did see the Tesla Filter vids so I'm interested in anything that's going to have my carts last longer. Not sure really how it functions but I'm looking forward to using it nonetheless.

Do the Lipton tea bag mod. It's really great. But you have to get the right tea bags. I saw one Youtube video and bought based on it and it was the wrong type of Liptonl. You want the specialty tea ones like Bavarian Wild Cherry. You will see that the bags are completely see-through. They are made of nylon it looks like. Go to their site and you'll see them. I had to visit several stores to find them.

They are so tightly woven that they really hold the juice and doesn't let it run out unless you really overfill it. I've tried the blue foam mod and it doesn't even come close. With the tea bag you don't have to use a straw, done that too, cause it leaves small air gaps to the bottom of the cart so it does the same thing.

Ok so the weirdest thing just happened.

I was vaping away happily on my ego, and I noticed after I stopped pressing the button, my atty continued to fire. The LED on the button flashed a few times, but not like when the battery needs charging. While the atty was still firing, the LED was NOT illuminated, I wiggled the button to see if it was stuck but it felt fine.

My atty continued to fry as I frantically took off the cart and the cone with my hands wrapped in my shirt cause it was so hot. I noticed a strange "Ozone" like odor and I honestly cant say if it was from the atty or the battery, but after taking it off, the battery wrieked of that smell, and the atty was still smokeable with no odor or foul taste (Thank god for quality dura attys, a joye510 woulda been done for after that)

I threw the battery on the charger again, since the light flashed a few times, but nothing happened... No LED flashing, no change in the charger status light. I tested the charger with another battery and all is good. But this battery is toast!

So Im bummed im out a battery. But the problem is I have a 5 pack of the multi batts, plus the 2 that came with the kit, and cant tell them apart, so I dont know if this battery is under warrantee... Anyone know how I can tell them apart?

Safe Travels,
