Mik, I based my comments on the fact you switched up the recipe and did not inform customers other than a brief mention on this forum. That destroys customer loyalty more than any comment I made, a comment that everyone knows anyway. You yourself have mentioned your love for Janty Cap, so you think this "new" recipe is even remotely comparable?

"We have noted that your tastebuds does not like the Janty Cappucino". Really? I LOVE Janty Cappuccino, it was my absolute favorite, thats why Im so mad right now. This is NOT Janty Cappuccino and shouldnt be labled or sold as such. If original Janty cappuccino is forever gone, then tell us so. And label this new blend Shoe or Tree Bark.

This manufacturer IS the original manufacturer of the "original" cappucino we all DO love. They have in their infinite wisdom decided to change it - why, we dont know - and yes, we are speaking to them about it.

Long story short; We are working on it, and i feel that we have given ample notice to our loyal customers on this forum about the new cappucino -that is all we can do at this point. I mean its not like we are telling you all its EVEN better than the old cappucino, all we are saying is that its good, but not the same as the old one; Some might like it more, some might like it less - thats not for us to say.

Hey Mik - just wondering...

Why is the Kiss Box shaped like a stick while the Janty Stick is shaped like a box?
:D

Because i wasnt working for Janty back when that decision was made :D

Actually, the true story behind this weird naming scheme involves Ludo, some russians, a poker table, and a 2 mile naked-run-dare through a german village. But due to an ongoing lawsuit i cant really disclose any more information at this point. It would weaken our case against the villagers.

Right on Mik!

Just a little reminder: we had a ban in Europe for a while a few years ago, people started stocking up, we never took advantage of the situation and told customers to stay calm and NOT stock up.

Fact: We simply kept producing and selling as usual, batches came through without problems, we survived the ban period, and eventually the ban got lifted. Those who had stocked up from other suppliers found themselves with a lot of redundant stuff after the "so called ban" because in the meanwhile JANTY launched new models, new liquids etc.

Fact: Banning is the worst thing a government could do, it will certainly lead to an increase of bad and unsafe copies, bad quality, unsafe and contaminated liquids, shady suppliers, shady manufacturers... therefore accidents are bound to happen.

Advice: stick to your trusted supplier, if he is serious he will put YOUR interest before anything else.

Good for you Ludo! It has become intuitively obvious to the casual observer that the US Fed and State governments are only interested in their tax revenue. They have no interest in public saftey or health.

The tide is turning toward the citizens and away from the elite politicians. There is still a long journey ahead, but look at how far we have come. And together, giving up analogs while switching to vaping the well being and health we receive will give us the strength to reclaim our freedoms and expand them in the future.

as far as the ban goes.. it is of sales in certain states not on use or possession.. so you will still be able to buy any item you need..

companies that are in a banned state will be effected unless they register their business in a state that sales are legal for there is mail services that will set them up with a address in certain states then forward mail.. as long as you have a mailing addy in a state you can use that as the company addy.. from there the place you are located becomes nothing more than a shipping warehouse and legally all sales are out of the other legal state..

the ban on shipping.. courier services will still ship.. just boosts the shipping costs..

Mik,

Can sympathize with your comments. I was a bit upset that not only was it not the Janty Cappuccino I was expecting, but was not stated on the website, only a brief mention on this forum. Now if I checked this forum every time I was going to make a purchase, I wouldn't be so surprised, but I don't. It states it on the site now, but I don't know that people will go through and read all the details, especially since we've been waiting for a couple months now. Again I can sympathize with your situation, and surely you can understand and may have experienced it yourself, taking that first vape of the Cappuccino and how disappointed and possibly furious one could be, based on what youre expecting. Myself and a couple co-workers actually took the day off, to cherish the moment Janty Cap came back!

My apologies for other digs I threw in my post, as I was sooo mad it felt like my face was going to burn off. At the time it seemed to best place to vent my frustrations.

But I draw the line at paying someone be a walking billboard.

Just out of curiousity.. are you the owner of any levi's, or diesel pants? what about your deodorant? your shoes? your car?

Everything is a billboard these days :p These are not just billboards, seeing as they dont shout out JANTY, but infact a statement to being clean, and non-polluting in terms of second hand smoke. :)

I had the exact thing happen to 1 of my ego manual batteries, my auto stopped working all together, (Ethan is swapping me out for a manual) and 1 of my GF's ego manuals, her other manual has a switch that turns on if you breath to hard on the switch...

I look at it this way...

Ethan is a stud, Janty provides me a warranty, and I will be taken care of.

These are relatively new devices and there will be issues, If I had gotten a generic or Joyce I would be up that creek with the proverbial paddle and dead batteries.

Due to the amount of product's dying + 2 attys (One that did fry when the battery continued firing, the other one going cold) I have to wait till Ethan get's my products, but he told me he will rush the replacements right out.

I was a bit upset with not getting a cross ship considering I had 2 complete kit's die on me, but I understand that there are some that take advantage of the warranty and put in bad claims, the few screw it for the masses.

I am using my kissbox right now and it works great, I am looking forward to getting my eGo's back up and going, and when the Baby-K comes out with the Tesla filter, I'll be getting that too.

I am just glad that I am not the only one that has had this freak occurrence happen to me, and also thankful for a company like Janty for continuing to enhance and improve PV's.

I can not say with any authority that this is what happened to any of these batteries.... but I can offer a possible explanation. Every once in a while, through normal use, you will get an atomizer where the resistance goes DOWN (not up.. or "increase" as was earlier stated). This happens because two or more of the adjacent coils in the heating element come in contact with each other and "fuse" together. This can actually cause an increase in the apparent vapor production... but it is also harder on the battery system because the current (amps) requirement goes up.

If the resistance of the atomizer drops below about 1Ω (about half of the stock resistance) you will exceed the current handling capability of the circuitry in the battery. And these batteries aren't "protected" per-se against over-current (near short) situations. When you go over about 3 amps, the switch circuitry (MOSFET) just starts to overheat on its way to failure. Now when it actually does fail, one of two things can happen. It can fail "open" (blown) and the battery will just stop delivering power to the atty. The button light may or may not work.. and the battery may or may not take a charge.. but a connected atty won't get any power. Or.... it can fail "closed" (short).. in which case the atty will continue to get power (regardless of whether you are pushing the button), the button LED may or may not illuminate, and you may even be able to charge the battery. But you can't "turn it off". This condition is usually short-lived. Usually a "shorted" output MOSFET will ultimately blow "open".

If you move this very low resistance (or shorted) atty from battery to battery, the failure will follow. You will sequentially damage all of your batteries.
