This was discussed at great length in the cart mods area. All my 510 attys have a little scratch on them to help me quickly align carts when I use carts(rarely) Most of my carts have some slightly burned ends. This only happens with good attys(around 2.5 ohms) The other attys with around 3.5 ohms don't seem to melt them....Jim

Hey Jim,

That supports my theory that only atomizers with too low resistance (from usage) or vaping on a higher volt device should cause this - and im still guessing it also has something to do with how people vape. I have used my 510/dura carts on 6 volt ( even on a 7.5 volt.. (!) ) for testing purposes, and i never melted them or even came close.

Whoa. To be honest, if you NEED to use 30 secs to a minute, on 5 volts -then you ARE doing it wrong. :)

To compare, i vape heavily and when im using a good atomizer on say a jantystick, then a 10 second push is more than my lungs can and will ever be able to handle. So you might wanna optimise that a bit - cause youre just killing your atomizer quickly by using it inefficiently! :)

I'm having some trouble with the site. It looks great, by the way. But it says the Janty USA team is in stock and ready for immediate shipping, and I can't find where to order it. I think it would be handy to have a team of professionals around to tend to my charging and cart filling needs. And some yardwork as well. Please let me know how to order, and how these are shipped (I'd assume holes are cut in the boxes to allow for air!)

Mik my atom has got twoo weeks life and it measure 3.1 ohm.
The other twoo I bought as spare(non tawa) measure the same.
Are they too low?Should I send them back?

I'm vaping on the same atom that melted the carts inserting it at cross in respect to the bridge and the cart is perfect in shape no melting at all.
Sorry but I canno't drip at work so I'm still testing this way.

Toby from Ivapour, has told me someone had the same problem with dura-c and they knew about, also if you search this forum for 510 cart melt you find a lot of post.

He suggested me to cut the carts with a v shape on both side but that's pretty annoying.:(

I hope the other user having same problem will come and post so we have more data.He too solved inserting the cart at cross.

Hopefully I wait for updates!
