If anyone does end up deciding to throw away their MVP2's... I could use a few for parts. Please let me know as I could send a digital shipping label.
Yeah, but I can get a spring loaded 510 for $5 or less and already have a Weller Blue Box soldering station I use for doing guitar work...
Yeah, I'm a bit of a tinkerer[emoji106]Not saying you can't fix em but when you factor in your labor it's cheaper just to replace. Unless you like to play with stuff like that.In that respect I'm in yer corner!

Me too. I just upgraded my 510 to a VariTube 510 even though I don't really use it anymore (backup to my backups). I used a tap to thread the sleeve to install the VT 510. It was a fun little project and it works great.
------------> Waves "Hello" to lucky_x16. Hi! Good to see you!
I have a chime in over there.I don't have a Lemo yet, but I frequent a thread where you might have some real good luck finding an answer to your question about it over there if no one chimes in over here.
That charger is a good find based on what I can read about it... I figure if you were charging everything at the same time, you would be using just about everything that charger can handle (~90%), which I find to be just right for those kinds of USB power adapters.

From the "gossip"...vs. the MVP2...the MVP3 will be a little heavier, a little bigger and a little more expensive...but replaceable 18650???
Have you considered the IVP Mini? vs. the MVP2...the IVP Mini is a little lighter, a little smaller and a little less expensive...and does have a replaceable 18650.

Ahh man was looking at that one all day and found it cheap!!!! Hmm maybe I'll get the 35w e-Holly they have. Its only $5 more.If you do, bypass the V6 unless you plan on changing the head when you get it. The contact pin loves to run away. Every time I fill my tank, I need to readjust the screw again so it will fire. Waiting on the V3 upgrade head now, since it has a floating pin.

Just bought my setup today and figured I'd post up here. Loving the amount of smoke and flavor I'm putting out, wished I had started with the MVP in the first place!
Now if I can just find a way to make my own vinyl skin out of a JPG to wrap this in I'd be set!
I'm not gonna enjoy it! I'm turning 39 in a couple hours haha. I better get lots of crap at the big family dinner, this year they can't escape!!
you just might find this interesting, thanks to the Capt.
