got my MVP in hand about 8-14 hrs a day

it's about 16½ months old now and still as strong, and trouble free as when I bought it
I try to charge it a couple times a day (boost)
never a problem (slight issue with conn pin touching but circuit board spacer eliminated that way back)
the one I gave to a friend is about 12 months old and visited me a few weeks back
it's still like new (never a problem) (and made them qwit smoking)

my button push is as others stated - must hold to get reading (holding both 2 sec, let go will read out)

reading along, got me to go look at my serial # {IK072 - 73005000}
that's like 13 million back from "spaz" up there :ohmy:

for sure the best $50 bucks I ever spent (bet it will last another year)
MVP's rule !

:D

I'm always afraid that I'll jinx myself if I talk about how old they are.

One thing non owners don't realize is the better vape from the smooth power output if an MVP. I see all of these new boxes around and no one seems to be able to compare the vape. I have other devices and have moved a topper from one to an MVP and notice the difference.

I own two, one went back to seller because it showed up with a sinking center pin and I did not want to play with it because it ...... me off that it was new and showed up like that.

I took a broken oring from a drip tip, cut about a quarter off with scissors, pulled up the pin and pushed the oring down in the well. Fixed it.

Sad to say my ~1.5 Y.O. V2 is starting to show a little wear. Sometimes, not all the time but sometimes if I hit the time limit and get the multiple flashes, the unit will shut down and the only way to get it to turn back on is to plug it in to a charger. This means I can't really count on it as a solo rig with no back up.

Mind you, I have beaten this thing like a red headed step child. Flung across the pavement at 30 mph, spent days in a bag of rice, come out of my pocket on to the the deck more times than I can count, etc. so I feel like I have gotten more than my monies worth out of it and have to wonder how many other devices, at any price, could have taken the beating this thing has taken.

Edit: Patiently waiting for the V3 as a replacement.
