Yours are way better than mine. Are these pics AFTER you drilled out the charge indicator hole? None of mine had the indicator and I note that yours are in the proper place even though they mounted the USB upside down (oops).

I'll make another order and see if I get better the next time. I can't really complain because I understood the description... but I don't want people thinking they should expect decent looking boxes with a 15% not DOA rate unless that's actually the case. I figure the $5 each is worth it for the USB charge circuit and OLED display though... and since I intend to rubberize them, I don't care too much about the housing dents/pitting/scratches.

I actually wonder if it's because I might have bought the last they had... or if larger orders get junkier devices sent?! I think I will do smaller orders next time.

I sent the nicest looking one I received out to another ECF member this afternoon.

Is there another thread just for this topic...? Or might that be a bad idea since they will likely just raise the price... as figure they might just due to the reviews or perhaps they have started double checking for simple issues like 'stealth' etc and will begin offering a 'rejects' listing...

Yep, I drilled the charging light hole with a drill press.

They came in a USPS small flat rate box with no packaging so they were rattling around inside which is probably why they had some marks, at least on my order. They were actually $25 per box a few months ago and not worth it at that price but for $5 ea, it was worth a gamble. I was planning on replacing them with DNA 40's but 2 are working fine so I'll wait on those. I'll probably throw a DNA 40 in the blue one soon since it's empty. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the 3 I just ordered. If I can get some cheap DNA 30's I might upgrade them. I would like at least 2 to have DNA 40's though.

There's a thread for modding Hana clone boxes HERE.

The enclosures from FT come with buttons, 510 and wires but you have a pretty good chance of getting one from Elev8vape that works but with a few quirks.

I'll post here if I hear they stock more but you gotta be quick.
Yeah, I just happened to stumble across them by dumb luck... The reviews on the site are actually why I jumped on it...

Agreed, too much at $25.

DNA40 sounds good, even real DNA30's sound good...

Thanks, I am already active in that thread... wasn't sure if there was a different one I should be in though... so many threads around here at ECF ;)

Either way... thanks for the initial link to the sale and all continued responses!

Hi again, been a while since I've been here to pester you :)

I have a question about the new MVP - since it's 20W, can I still use my Smoktech Pyrex Aro tanks with 2.4ohm coils? I basically want the same vape as my current MVP, but with a few improvements. I don't want to play around with other tanks, I'm happy with what I have. Thanks!

You sure can. Just set the wattage to the same thing as you like now.

The DNA 30 has to have a pretty good discount for me to choose it over a DNA 40. Once you try TP, you want it on everything. It really is that good.

You should be able to get the same vape with just a bit more flexibility. If you can wait, Innokin is coming out with a few more devices that might better fit your needs. There are also other companies releasing mini type devices. I would guess a few more months before everything gets sorted out so if you can sit tight for a few more weeks/months, you'll have a wider range of products to choose from.

Thanks so much, pufZeppelin. Unfortunately, I already know about connection problems. I experienced that with two brand new twist batteries that I purchased that, to this day, have yet to work. Thankfully I'm not having any connection problems with the MVP. It's been more of a tank problem. The clearo that came with it leaked all over the place, and I haven't had time to play with it to see what the issue is. I put my hands on a Kanger Aerotank, and I could barely get any vapor out of it, in spite of playing with adjustments and playing with the air flow.

At long last, I think I have something on it right now that is going to work for me.
I purchased three Aspire ETS (I think) tanks. I just put one on, and it is working marvelously!!

;) yepper, the Aspire series with the little “bvc” coils
is a very good choice - - I needed something with longevity for the wifes
out-of-hand style of vaping, and they are currently holding up very well !

the ET (plastic) & ET-S (glass inside metal) are close to perfect IMO, you
can completely dismantle them, ego threads, nice capacity, and I took it one
step futher and installed an all aluminum tank (from mini vivi nova)...

- Mini Vivi Nova Replacement Aluminum Tank

after appx a month I like the little bvc coil, a single coil that produces good
results and seems to last - - when the time comes, I’ve been rebuilding them
as a single horizontal coil (bcc)

and as for an Upgrade tank that utilizes the little bvc, a lot say they like the Silo lite (Designed in USA)

Only just found this group and recently got an MVP2.0 so Hi all.

Been running a Genitank Mini on it and they work great together but it's a bit juice hungry so need a bigger tank. Was looking at Aerotank Mega or Nautilus but a guy on another thread recommended the Silo Tank. Checked some reviews and it looks amazing. I've found a UK outlet so will hopefully be getting my hands on one soon.

hey Dadzpants , welcome to the club :toast:

the geni / aero gonna be ‘dual’ coil and burn up some juice

the SILO uses the big Nautilus BVC coils & is 5 ml
the SILO Light uses the small BVC coils & is 3.5 ml
big price difference (tank & coils) between them

prefer the Silo Light $ :D

good luck with your new set up

:)

You can run the battery down until it says to charge it... but IF you want to extend the overall life of the batteries, then don't charge it back up over 4V. Yes, you can see the digital readout of your battery by pressing both buttons at the same time... it will show your resistance followed by your battery voltage. The LEDs around the fire button also tell about your battery voltage range, please see the manual for exact details on that.

Congrats on almost reaching your first year!

I'm picking my mvp 2.0 up tomorrow can I use my aspire ets with a 1.8 coil and if so what volts or wattage is best to use

Yes, you can use the MVP2 with your aspire products... the wattage will be dependent on your taste... start low and work your way up slowly... just make sure the wick is always wet before you jump wattage... actually, always.
