I'm picking my mvp 2.0 up tomorrow can I use my aspire ets with a 1.8 coil and if so what volts or wattage is best to use

hello Marcus1970, welcome to club MVP

you sure can use your ET / ET-S @ 1.8Ω

suggest you set MVP at 8.0w and see how you like it
then up/down at your pleasure

be SURE the guts inside coil are WET BEFORE you fire/heat it

your gonna like those little bvc coils…

:)

tip: NEVER over-tighten any toppers !

so excited to find this thread! i have had a silver mvp 2 since last nov- i figured it wouldnt last forever so ordered the slate blue one this past spring
and a matte black one this fall....- i didnt know not to run it down to the red zone before charging...... have been doing that every time-
thanks for info on when to recharge- at 3.7? and you see this by pushing down both buttons at same time??
i am using the mini nautilus- love it- analog free since jan 23, 2014!

well hey there piercetc, glad you found us

people sure like the mini Nautilus on MVP (a great combo)

- - - - - - - - - -

a good place for a “refresher” on operation

on the MVP,

--
-holding both buttons:
-first display is, Coil Ω’s
-second display is, Charge Remaining in internal battery
- - -
single button operation:
>push and hold (top button) "P" for watts control
>push and hold (bottom button) "U" for volts control
-the first display will always be Puff Counter (0-999)
(which actually just counts how many times you push your Fire button)
-second number displayed is the adjustable setting (v or w)
-- it is EITHER volts OR watts, never both
-- 3 clks off / 3 clks on (puff counter resets to "0" each time)
-- MVP memory maintains until you change it
-------------------------------------
for me, as far as charging my MVP :

I follow the practice of “short-charging” my batteries

team motto: charge soon & charge often

not allowing it to get to low (avoid yellow) when possible
and remove it from charge BEFORE it completes (early 4.1v)
(final saturation of charging puts stress on the battery)

Thanks Puf and Roto and Hi to you both.
Thanks for the tips Puf, why you think the Silo Light is the better choice?

Also, how do you put one of those Smoke free for blah blah blah on the bottom of your posts?

Silo Light because $$$ mostly (tank & coils)
and I like the smaller ‘power-saving’ coils and those
small coils can fit several ‘other’ clearos…

Stop Smoking Banners
my Banner won’t link,
but most, you just CLK on Banner (and follow instructions)

On This Page: at the TOP HEADER BAND, you’ll see
Forum Actions, drop menu you’ll see >Generate SigBanner
(if it’s not there you need more post count)

Thanks.
Some people have said that the Silo BVC that come with it are no good and need to be replaced with the Aspire ones, have you found that the case?

I don’t have or use a SILO (all hearsay from me)

but I HIGHLY DOUBT Beyond Vapes makes coils...

they are just “re-branded” (my guess)
and as with all coils factory made it’s ‘hit-or-miss’ in “QC”

Nope. Mine came with a different one, but the one I bought for someone else came with it and as far as I know, they are still using it  Which reminds me... I have a batch of them here that need to have their silica swapped for Rayon... guess I know what I should be doing :(

I have not read the hole tread, so maybe this is already been told? Innokin has made MVP 20 watt now, ready to ship next week, and soon to come out MVP 3.0 with a Evolv 30 watt chip. Can`t wait- Love my MVP 2.0

Yeah,... a few of us have heard about that ;)... worry not! This is still your thread to be in no matter which MVP you end up using...
