I am so sure I have read somewhere that the new mvp 3 would be powered by a dna board. Do I remeber wrong? Anyone who know?
speculation was evolv to be included as per SVD 2.0, at some point...
There's supposed to be a more expensive version released with a dna chip at some point.
seems to only make sense that Innokins' flagship model would have/use the nifty Evolv product line... :thumb:
Well you better hope it doesn't see the DNA chip since there's seems to be a problem with the Cloupor Mini that uses it. ←----
The latest on those was some 50 or so catching on fire with a recall in progress. 50 out of some 100,000+ that is.

The actual 3.0 30w is out for vendors to order wholesale. The word on that came in from the Vaping Cheap daily email. So plan at least another week or so about the same time as the 50w iStick is out. The manufacturers like to keep release dates close so no one gets a big lead on the other by having something while they are still waiting!

WHOA ! it is NOT a DNA chip set
Cloupor Mini guts are a CLONE of the DNA
one should not insinuate Evolv is part of it
other than a knock-off of their chipset…

Evolv might find you and drag you behind a horse thru a cactus field…
at the super bowl with 4.5 million people watching, maybe the ½ time show

:w00t:

Cloupor generally gets good grades so I wouldn't be in any rush to accuse them of being "knock offs"! ;) In fact before the news broke about the 30w Mini PBusardo put out his review only a couple of weeks old now. A PBusardo Review & Contest - The Cloupor Mini - Kukutube.com

There are current co-ops in the classifieds for the two new I-sticks. You will find them a lot cheaper in those!

I've pondered on looking those over but still haven't gotten there as of yet having simply price shopped around keeping eyes on the wholesalers which are good indicators to know about when something will be out within a few weeks time afterwards. That's when the usual vendors then start talking about having things on order for the first time. Of course going in with a vendor on a buy usually can save a few $$$$!

WHAT ! ? are you nuts ???

lets not confuse what YOU SAID

you said the cloupor had an Evolv DNA chip in it
IT DOES NOT !

no spinning what you said

you were wrong and I corrected you on it – period

you are making the false claim it is a DNA chip inside
which plain and simple is not the case...

so in turn what you are saying is EVOLV is responsible
for the chips that melted down – which is erroneous
you’re treading on thin ice here…

I could care less about cloupor and make no judgments toward them,
but will stick up for a company such as EVOLV that has great integrity

The last I heard the Cloupor Minis catching on fire was thought to be improperly installed/placed wiring or something. Plenty of other devices use the DNA chips without issues.

Worrying about another device beating them to market is pretty much moot now. Innokin bungled the release and now quite a few other manufacturers already have inexpensive 30w-50w devices on the market.

I think you are the one getting confused a bit. There's the listing for the genuine Cloupor Mini that uses the Yihi chip is seen at Cloupor DNA 30 Box Mod $69.99 | GOTSMOK.COM

One of the clone versions can be looked over at Zero Modz DNA 30 Mod (Clone) - $69.91 | Broke Vapers

Now look at the Cloupor DNA 30 mech version that does use an Evolv chip 2014 Csmoking evolv dna chip mechanical mod cloupor dna 30 mod

I wouldn't say completely since the word on the Beyand 30w was way back during the month of October and look how long it took for that to hit the wholesale market! That was seen right after the first iStick 20w models were out before word on the 30w and 50w versions were even mentioned by Eleaf. Innokin pushed the 20w updated version of the 2.0 out to match the iSticks while delays are not uncommon and only limited to Innokin with the 3.0. I placed an order for the new epipe Smoktech has out back in early November when it was first due out on 11/15 but didn't make the debut for a full month!

As for a wiring problem that would come as no surprise when looking at how press fitted 18650s are in some other mods lately one requiring a cloth strap be placed down under the top of the battery in order to get it out either for using a separate charger or when going to replace a dead battery. Another mod by someone also sees a tight fit without spring type contacts.

No, No, No......You cannot say that the chip-set is an Evolv product and then base your argument on an Alibaba listing....Geez louise, Alibaba ads are like the wild west of advertising and will say anything to sell a bulk order.Besides, the description says CLONE....

I thought mechs had no chips........

Eric

There are mechs and then some with mech modes. The Smok BEC Pro 50w Bluetooth mod here sees that as well. The wattage and voltage becomes totally automatic according the resistance of the coil or atomizer without any control as far as raising or lowering either when set to that mode. You set it in that mode when there is concern about too high a setting cooking a tank since it becomes totally automatic as would any regular mech as far as the battery in use.

And for those looking to dress up their Atlantis tanks you can now get a variety of colors in 10 and 12 packs as well as individually as well as the 7ml replacement for only $4.10 at Fasttech. Paid $30 at Kidney puncher for the Kraigen remove and replace two screws 8ml tanks and the pair of 7ml for $14 a pop at VapeNW and find none are over 5ml - 5.5 ml to begin with! Atlantis 7ml Tank Upgrade - $4.10 | Best Vape Deals

Fill the 8ml with only a half of what is in a 10ml needle bottle? They call that 8ml? or 7ml?

I had a VW eGo battery die in under two weeks last summer as well as the Smok Groove II that had seen the battery compartment problem fixed when apparently the first version was running into the same catch of fire problems the Cloupor Mini has been seeing lately. Think all is well until it goes on you much before it's time. This is why there are warranties to begin with because no matter how many are found to be good there will always be a few clunkers.

LOL I'm sure you Herb wasn't serious and we both know they will be back to the MVP!!!

Well , you got it lol, of course i wasn't serious , everyone is allowed a few mistakes , warnings are given out for the first two indiscretions , a third Istick purchase does result in death though , just wanted to make that clear .

It's more than reasonable if you think about it though.
