Sweet-vapes has the 3.0 listed at $60, though not in stock yet. Best price I've seen so far.
All these other mods all die on me after a month or two...My Mvp2 and Vtr are still trucking. Vamo5 dead, istick Stripped, ipv mini dying from screen scramble.... Trust me that I'm getting the MVP30W as soon as possible....

I think you are the one getting confused a bit. There's the listing for the genuine Cloupor Mini that uses the Yihi chip is seen at Cloupor DNA 30 Box Mod $69.99 | GOTSMOK.COM

One of the clone versions can be looked over at Zero Modz DNA 30 Mod (Clone) - $69.91 | Broke Vapers

Now look at the Cloupor DNA 30 mech version that does use an Evolv chip 2014 Csmoking evolv dna chip mechanical mod cloupor dna 30 mod
Sorry but Cloupor does not use Evolv or Yihi chips at all. They're all clones and people that can't research get suckered that way. The SX130, which is Yihis 30w chip is ONLY used in the IVP Mini. The next chip up, the SX330, costs more than the entire Clouper "DNA30".

I concur, the only mods I have that I know I can count on are my MVPs , my REO, and my Panzer. Notice only one set of those is not mechanical.

When I bought my Zmax I was advised to use the heck out of it within the warranty period so that if something went bad it would be covered.
Was/is good advice for any product.

yepper !

learned that lesson long ago

when you get something,
  • open it,
  • tear it apart,
  • test it,
  • use it,
thoroughly

something for back up, a gift, storage device

ya just never know these days...

Are you eating funny mushrooms? Just thought I'd ask. :)

Mushrooms yes, but i never thought they were that funny to be honest . I take it that you don't agree with the third indiscretion resulting in death part , i thought that was stretching it myself but when i recommended death as a first offense some didn't agree .

You'll find that there are only so many manufacturers being less the numbers of brand names floating around. There are only so many chip manufacturers as there are only so many battery manufacturers. Funny how the Evolv Kick and Kick2 are also sold by Smoktech.

Smokteck Kick page: kick

Cloupor Hanz Mod DNA 30 VaporShark DNA30, and a list of others seem to be using the same chip. Everyone was hooping and stamping the Smart 20 mod was a clone too for the 20w iStick until a few people found the only thing different was.... "The Brand Name"! Are eGo b atteries Joyetech or Smoktech? How about GreenVaper or SLB?

Manufacturers while maintaining their regular suppliers also take limited time orders from others using different names for things to avoid being labeled copycats but to sell as other brands. Shenzhen Jiazhida Technology Co., Ltd. - Shenzhen Cloupor Technology Co., Ltd.- Smoktech - Innokin all seem to coming out of one manufacturing city Shenzhen, China The entire Evolv DNA series is a modder's dream board so it was conveyed when first new.

Evolv, the maker of the Kick is just getting ready to bring the DNA modder’s board to market. Simply put, the DNA is a small VW board that is built for modders. The DNA is small in order to be able to fit in a commonly sized tube, or box mod. In order to be used in various builds, the DNA is also sturdy and rugged.

Not funny or strange...Evolv did the Kick first and China(Smoktech) copied it...Two completely different manufacturers.

Cloupor Hanz Mod DNA 30 VaporShark DNA30, and a list of others seem to be using the same chip.
It doesn't "Seem" that way to me..Vapor Shark, Vapor flask, Hana mods and a small, select group use authentic Evolv DNA boards. Cloupor uses its own imitation Dna board...

Manufacturers while maintaining their regular suppliers also take limited time orders from others using different names for things to avoid being labeled copycats but to sell as other brands.

Evolv can barely keep up with current demand and many times there is a wait for surplus Evolv boards and when Evolv does collaborate with another company, as with Innokins SVD2, They are open and up front about it...Evolv is a publically traded company so all their info is above board and should be easy to find with a little Google-foo. Good day:)

Bought a Spartan mini tank yesterday from my B&M. Paired with my new MVP. Aside from the 1. 5 ml juice capacity I have no complaints. This combination is working really well right now. Looks pretty slick too imo.

The last I heard the Cloupor Minis catching on fire was thought to be improperly installed/placed wiring or something. Plenty of other devices use the DNA chips without issues.

Worrying about another device beating them to market is pretty much moot now. Innokin bungled the release and now quite a few other manufacturers already have inexpensive 30w-50w devices on the market.

Here I am 110% sure. There is no, zero, nada, Evolve DNA boards in the cluopor mini.

Have you read the specs from the link you posted? It says "DNA 30 clone", and they are confused. They call it a mech mod :D

If or when my ivp mini dying, the box will see a dna 40 chip. Hope I can do it.

I just watched Phil's youtube China trip part 1 with the Innokin factory. I have even more loyalty to Innokin now that I did before. Not going to get into the Watts War.

Meanwhile my year old MVP 2s are still going. Trying to justify getting a 3.0 when they come out.

yes, that Innokin tour shined a bright light on a great company (in my eyes)
looking forward to same at Kanger and Aspire (coming soon)

here is one from Phil's travel buddy

many have gone negative about the bigger size of the MVP 3.0
but I like big (not huge) and look forward to owning one
it has it all, then more than likely, as expected, the Innokin quality...

I dunno. Got about 10 months or so out of the first one. Second one has to be charged after about 5 hours or so, MVP20.... dead on arrival.

yeah, that's a bummer

what do you run on yours as an average ? {Ω & watts ?}

1.6Ω - 2.0Ω / 8W for me and mine are well over a year old

and still going strong...

seems the 3.0 has had a lot of input
and Innokin has built about the perfect device (for my vape style)
now we will see what price does to that equation...

:)
