Got it, but is this a clone?

The logo is different on the back.

That is innokin's new logo.

We have yet to see a single non-legit MVP reported or pictured. They don't exist, at least right now.
This is a rather slimy ploy by Innokin to control prices and force people to buy only from the dealers that
innokin has "approved". Frankly, it is a crappy way of doing business and I think if they tried to do that
with a US based company they would be hit with a fine or a law suit.

Edit: If you want to read more on this price fixing by Innokin, google Smokey Joes blog "Dirty Little Not So Secret." For some reason I can't link it on ECF.

hello and welcome to the MVP owners thread... :toast:

seems the crowd is about 50%/50% concerning the i30
I am on the nay side, just didn’t care for it…
plastic, 510 threads, dual coils, and ALL those wicks
it didn’t hit well enuff for me…
have to admit I didn’t give it a prolonged test run, but I ran it
enuff that it got passed on to another vaper & I never gave it another thought
I had many other tanks that far out performed it at the time…

but it sounds if you're one who gets along with it, and that's a good thing :)

I've been trying to give the Iclear i30 a chance. The taste and vapor are great from this tank, but I learned right away it can not be turned upside down or the juice flows from the tip. Also, it slowly drips from the area that touches the battery. Like actually drips slowly. Last night, I left it on my MVP overnight for the first time and when I woke up, the beauty ring was leaking my juice all over the MVP. It slowly dripped out all night and the top and sides of my MVP were covered and slippery from the juice leaking all night. I've made sure the coil is screwed in tight and everything checks out, but it drips from the bottom constantly. Took awhile to clean it all out. I think I will toss this tank since my Nautilus' and Aspire BDC tanks are much less finicky.

I don't have that problem, bigdude. Upside down doesn't leak for me. Don't really store it upside down but a full tank laying on the desk all day doesn't leak. As far as seeping down on the contact pin... don't have a tank that doesn't to some extent no matter what the brand. So it sounds like something is wrong with the tank but I can't imagine what. And yeah... flavor and clouds are really hard to beat with them.

I was going to wait until a MVP 3 comes out but of course I couldn't do it so I ordered my first box mod ever - the MVP 2.
I figure I'll get the 3 if and when it comes out. I am pretty excited since it should arrive today or tomorrow.

In other words: A new MVP user introducing himself. :)

Got it, but is this a clone?

the only way it can get out is

the o-ring on the base as to seal the coil on (make sure it's there)

but it exits out the wick tube, down the coil shaft, then out to the battery

so it's why they preach DON'T OVERFILL
then allowing it to sit on its side too long
oversaturates wicks, then in turn if you don't burn it off
excess again drips down coil shaft, onto battery

another possibility is the tank itself is NOT SEALED
thus not maintaining a vacuum which allows juice to flow freely out...

Tell me about it , their freaking everywhere , i do most of my driving during the graveyard shift for that reason alone.

No need to change it , just thought i would mention it.

Dang Girl , you must feel really comfortable in super tight quarters , you certainly don't leave any room for error do you lol.
Nah I dont but I dont have any errors lol I've rebuilt 6 PT2 coils. They all are 1.3 I dont need them yet still on the first coil. Only reworked twice in the last month. But I have others ready in case I need em.

Well the weird thing is both my Iclear X.1 work in it but neither my Nautilus or Nautilus mini, Stillare or my Tobh's will work on it still.
I'll have to look back for that post to see if I can get it to work for me with something other than the Iclear x.1 which I hate.

you’re kinda blending TWO DIFF PROBLEMS together
>one is an electrical snafu
>you’re describing a contact / connection sorta trouble

The tank will literally empty in a second or two if I turn it upside down. The juice pours out in a stream. If I fill it up to 2ml and leave it for the night, it will maybe have 1ml left in the morning from leaking out the bottom pin. Maybe I got a bum tank? Everything is tightened down so I have no idea. I could leave my nautilus tanks or my Aspire BDC tanks alone for days and have never had a puddle of juice.

you're sayin out/down the center tube ???

that sounds like your tank IS NOT SEALING

which won't allow a vacuum to seal it all up

check all your seals

wash it out, blow/suck thru it during assembly to find your leak

IMO

:)

did you swap coils for good measure ?

I wish I had the box. This stupid vendor unboxed it and sent the contents so it would fit in a smaller package, I'll never use them again.

I see some vendors do the 'box' trick

then if you want the box

they pass the extra shipping on to you/us

it's all a game (vendors & web shopping)

which needs to be played with great finesse

Thanks for the tips. Just disassembled the tank and went through the box that everything came in. Found what looks like a rubber nipple that goes over the coil. Swapped it out for a new coil that I purchased a while back. All of the coils have the rubber nipple over the wicks. I'm assuming that the lack of this rubber piece on my original coil is the reason for the issues?

haha YEPPER - that would be it !

I never thought that
but MANY people think that is some sort of packing/storage piece

that seals / separates your air flow from your juice chamber

glad ya got it worked out

:)
