Hi Gina,
Hope you've gotten over your hand injury. Surprised you didn't mention the Sophia!;)

It is getting better, thank goodness :). I figured you already new about my Sophia obsession lol. The Sophia is all I use in all my tanks...still simply amazing and perfect for me. Can't seam to get enough, that's for sure :)

In the next day or so my Provari mini will arrive. I'd appreciate your advice on two questions:

First, I want to use it as an out-and-about PV replacing my twist. It will go into my jacket pocket. Perhaps upright and most likely on its side as gravity exerts its pull. For short trips out, I don't want to carry a juice bottle. Given this backdrop, what toppers do you all like?
Obviously, taste and vapor are important. But, avoidance of problems (leaking tanks, whatever) is also key. What do you think?

Second, Is there a thread or two or three among the many that is a must to subscribe to in order to keep up with the world of Provari?

Looking forward to your advice.

Protanks and Kayfuns are your best bet on the tanks. Neither leak, and while the Kayfun provides better flavor and vapor, you also have to have to be willing to rebuild coils. the Protank is very much a plug-and-play experience, with the option of rebuilding if you choose. As mentioned above IBTanked is always a reliable classic ProVari attachment.

If you want to stay abreast of the latest tanks and accessories for ProVari's, this forum is pretty good...just avoid the "WooT! just bought a ProVari!" threads. If your interests lay only with the official stuff from ProVape, their Facebook page is probably the best way to stay updated on the newest releases.

Are the metal stands like the one in the last picture available for purchase somewhere?
Several places. Most people get them from ProVape.
Tatroe ProVari Wide End Cap with Spring

Provari Tatroe End Cap

You'll need to buy the Twins extension or a Tatroe ring if you want to use the longer batteries in a ProVari.

Edit: It's not a stand, per se, it's an actual end cap with a wide base. If you want an actual stand, you'll need to look for something like this:
A custom made ProVari stand by Lee at Arbor Autopsy.

The wood is Jatoba and the accent wood is Padauk. This is the natural color of the wood, only a protective coating was applied.

These pictures don't do the stand much justice at all. The natural lighting was pretty poor today. The red strips almost glow under direct light.
