That's why I will love it so much when we locate tubing for these and proper fittings. This unit works so well... the tubing never comes off even without sealant and I just throw it in my crouded pocket when not using it. It has never leaked. I have flooded it a couple times and that has only been when I am driving to work at night and overdo it. The final result in the dripping is down to 1/32" of an opening... very tiny... yet not so tiny as to stop any liquids I have used. It works wonderfully for me.

I'll try to post some other ideas for tubing:

The above picture is from a graduated pipette I tried on my first Nico-Drip V1. Pipettes are not made for long term use though and will undo at the seams if to much pressure is exerted.

I do have a spray bottle tube that fits wonderfully onto the dropper tip assembly from the 3ml dropper bottles. No picture yet.

Thank you sgood... :)

You know.... some people I work with who have seen this in person... said I was crazy to be thinking about posting a "how-to". Which was a great compliment.

The reason I post a how-to is for people like my brother and I who cannot afford to buy a mod. Now we have better mods than any that can be bought in my opinion! I also post it for people who cannot make their own mods for various reasons..... in this they can see the process take shape.

And.... can we just imagine what it would be like if Nicowolf never shared her Nico-Stick? Or any of the other modders that share had never shared?:(

American ingenuity is not dead! (no matter how hard our government holds us back) :thumb:

Thank you Skydragon. Give it a shot and I think you will be pleasantly surprised. A lot could be left out of this how-to and still make a great juice box. Hopefully others will post their versions here too to show that it is possible and maybe share their tubing examples.

If not..... we could all venture down to the classifieds section to see other versions by other people.......... ;)

Dreams...I use the tube from the hair spray bottle straight up from the bottle, through the box and into the cart. It's simple! I'll try to get pics later...very busy with work.
I'm planning on doing what you've done to see if it works better, I keep flooding my atty and leaking out the side holes.
Is the connector you have at the cart from the lighter also? I want to order some fittings and tube but there a sea of choices and I don't have time to sit down and figure it all out right now.
Love your mod, now just want to learn how to paint it like yours.

Good morning Stormi! Will be nice to see some pictures when you get time to share. :pop:

In the final part of the how-to I do cover the importance of making certain that the atty connector is sealed very good because if it does get flooded.... the e-liquid could get inside the box. If the atomizer connector is sealed.... the e-liquid will run down the outside of the box if flooded.

There are also a few little, as yet, unseen surprises to the finished product.

I also still plan on posting pics about how it's used.... and the animation of the slow changing LED and how it gives the appearance of having 2 LEDs.

When I get this done... I'm going to go back through the links others have provided and try to find some tubing and connectors to duplicate what I have here.... and hopefully at a reasonable price.

We'll find 'em!:thumb:

For impatient people like Stormi and myself.... here is a little example of the slow changing LED in my Nico-Drip/Manipu-Mod that I had posted in the past. An animation>

Hey Dreams,
That mod is looking sharp & I can't wait for the how-to! I found this, teflon tubing: 14 AWG Gauge MIL-SPEC Teflon TFE Tubing TFT-250-14: In Stock Buy Now | West Florida Components I am thinking about using it. 14 gauge seems about right, but they also have 7 & 8. The 18 & up is just too small.:)
This tubing has a high heat tolerance, around 500 degrees & is flexible. It is about the same color as a natural dropper bottle.
Once again, great work!
Have a good one...

Wow..... thanks for that tubing link Sci! I know I've been to that website before but I never saw the tubing. And the shipping is excellent also.

I know there is a big tubing shop in Georgia that I've gotten the link from in the Modders forum here..... but they charge like $18.00 S$H! To ship from Atlanta to north Florida..... $18.00! 8-o ....... for light as a feather tubing!

Oh, the irony of rules and regulations. There is a member selling their lesser version Nico-Drip mod/s in the classifieds but I am not allowed to sell even 1 because I've posted the how-to and now must become a registered supplier to even sell 1 or risk being banned at ECF.

I remember my Mother stating once that she had raised my brothers and I to be too honest after we were bragging about what a great Mother she was.

Well....... either way......... I would not have traded my Mother for the world...... nor hopefully should I ever become regretful that I've posted a "how-to".

Dreams,
I've ordered from them(West Fl. Components), they ship fast, have good prices & great products. I've got the 14,18, & 24(somewhere) gauge tubing. I was thinking about trying the 7 & 8. I'm thinking the 14 will be the ticket for me(only $.30 a foot!). A juice box will be a little later on for me. Right now, I'm working on a battery box with a box battery in it.:) Well, not really a battery box, but, close.

Bummer about not being able to sell w/o registering as a supplier. But, please don't be regretful about posting a how-to. It's said what goes around, comes around. You've earned a big one for this!

I know about the honesty thing. If my family doesn't want to know the truth, they don't ask. I'm not a good liar. :)

Looking forward to your how-to, hope you don't mind if I turn it into a pdf file. I'll be able to keep it that way.
Have a great one!

Sorry folks... I know I said I'd be continuing the how-to tuesday night but it is actually very early wednesday morning.

Sci, I ordered some of that tubing yesterday morn! At least I'll have tubing for other things if it's not what I want and I'll also have a better idea on sizes. A PDF File sounds so cool!

Here comes the rest of the how-to finally!!! Sorry for keeping anyone waiting.

This Nico-Drip V2 was so close to being mailed to Stormi..... because she was the reason I came up with this finally..... I think it will be the Nico-Drip V1 that she'll get from me though..... :).... when I can get to it.

EDIT TO ADD: The reason I do the spring this way instead of just cutting it off the end (which is much easier) is because I do not want the spring to harm the battery by having any sharp points.

"Spagetti Tubing" huh? Hmmmm.......... I would like clear spagetti then.
