Your problems mirror mine almost exactly, except mine died after about 7 or 8 fills. On the leaker, try replacing the inner cap. Since you have 2 "extras" now. In mine, I think I damaged the fill hole when I punctured it. After I replaced it, it worked fine.

On the 2 that died, I was using SI and ECB juices at the time. I think the issue might be that the newer CE3's build up with gunk quickly and are much more sensitive to sudden death. The Niquid may be a matter of poor timing, since they were just released, and it is natural that everyone would test new flavors with CE3's for obvious reasons.

On the bright side, I have been using my CE3's part time, #3 former leaker, and #4, cleaning very frequently, and even with Niquid, have not had one fail in a couple of weeks. They are just really sensitive to higher voltage.

this is just keeps getting better!!! I just refilled another one that WAS working. I fill 2 non menthol and 2 menthol every morning to make sure I last the day. I tried it and it is dead!!!! That is now the entire box gone with 1 cart getting 6 fills the rest less before dieing or leaking! Best part is I have another full box I ordered at the same time sitting here!

I am still working on 1 I have had since July. I bought 2 packs the end of july and threw out 2 of the original ones. I soaked them in hot water taking out inner seal. I also soak the seals. I use a small paper clip to get the inner seal out. I make the first hole by wetting the paper clip and pushing it through slowly twisting at a small angle.

You all are scaring me on these.

Good Morning all! I too have had lots of trouble with my CE3's. Out of the three I've used only one is not leaking everywhere, and even that one leaks on occasion. I followed the directions...made sure not to overfill, no airbubbles, inner seal not "ripped"....but they still leak! I thought these were going to be a great product, but I'm starting to think they just aren't. :(

Yesterday I managed to kill on of this new CE3 by dry burning it after 2 refilled. From my experience, this new CE3 doesn't like thick and dark juices. I normally use 70/30 pg/vg and don't really have problem with it but thicker than this I will have dry hit from time to time. The one that died, I loaded up with my Ranging Bi**h and got a lot of dry hit after the second fill I don't get good vapor so I know I'll need some dry burn on this. Only a few 2 second press once I saw red grow, I popped the coil. I opened inside and see a lot of gunk built up around coil.

To me now, I will make sure not to use thick juice in this CE3 other wise I have to adjust center post to make sure it wick faster. Make sure not to get too much dry hit because that will create gunk build up fast, also make sure to clean as often as possible. I still like the new one but seem like the old one is more reliable, luckily I still have quite a few of old one in rotation.

I think a lotta CE3 problems are tied to gunk build up. Using only 75%+ PG, I have seen each of my CE3s build up gunk fast. I have been cleanning out every 3 refills, and dismantling every 10 fills, for a deeper clean. This includes using a plastic pick to try to scrape off some of the gunk. While this has saved the CE3s from dying prematurely, 3 still working, I think this makes them much more sensitive to voltage. I just cleaned up an old one, getting as much gunk off as I could. On a stick battery, the burned taste is tolerable. When I switched to an x2 900, it was wretched. I have one new CE3 still in the package, so I fired it up with the same juice.... It tastes great on both batteries.

I do not think that the juice I am using is making the gunk worse.... everything is 12-18 mg nic, 75-85%+ PG. I've used ECB, SI, SI-Niq, TVR... All seem to give the same results.

WHile I love the performance of the CE3 out of the box, I am really disappointed by the short life of the product. I have another box unopened, and I guess I will use it and enjoy it while it lasts. Including frequent cleaning, 5-10 fills before sudden death or burned taste is not worth the expense.

EDIT: At least for me, the clearos have lasted a little better. Here's hoping that T3s are available soon to try.

All these posts about recent and rampant problems with the CE3s from SI (including myself)....has anyone tried for a refund? Or anything? I almost hate to bother their support people about it because I am SURE they are aware of the problems. But dang....I've probably wasted at least $15 on these things in the past few weeks. Before this "change" or whatever, I could make a single CE3 last two weeks or more, with at least 2 refills a day, of ANY kind of smoke juice....

I raised a support case and had a generic response, but nothing specific to the product.

I also emailed the manufacturer but after several emails back and forth I stopped getting replies. Either they don't care or their one person that speaks a little bit of English went on leave.

I'm back in search for different clearo's but I can't find much for stick batteries. Trying the M3 but it's too long imo. There is a horizontal Coil Clearomizer mentioned in the 808D forum I will buy after Xmas, and i want to find somewhere that sells the Tidy 12 808D.

I never had an issue that needed raising with the old CE3.
