100% right good sir....DON'T USE TEFLON TAPE ON THE MOD, use it on the rta it won't do any good on the mod haha
omg some of you will fight or disagree over anything I swear.someone can say one thing and 2 people will always pop up and say "ooo don't do that it's wrong" or " I've never had a problem with it so obviously nobody has" so what a lot of people have been using the tape to fix this problem?so you don't want to,that's you, so you don't want to use the tape fine.people have been doing this since this thing came out and guess what? Nothing's happened at all ACCEPT!!! FIXING THE PROBLEM!!!!I never wrote it's a long term fix.it's just something simple till the op either gets a new one or the company makes a better screw.out of the hundred or so people that have tried this guess what?no tape into the chamber, nobody's **rta**had blown up, nobody has vaped deadly Teflon fumes and died, nobody's rta has caught fire and burned them to death because of this tape ideal, nobody has choked on a rouge piece of Teflon tape, plus you're not even using it "on the mod" it's underneath the **rta** (not mod) it would and is around a small little screw.the piece of tape itself is 4 maybe 5cm long.let it go already either the guy does or doesn't.some of you really need to grow up and stop jumping in just because you feel the need to fight at the time.anywho I have coils to make for a huge order that has to be in the mail today.plus I must say the guys in the fasttech chat forum might be mean to people but one thing they're a lot of really smart people on there who's use to fixing mods because they've been doing it since vaping became a thing mod= modification.funny how people have forgotten what mod even stands for huh?I'll take the advice over anyone in that forum before I'd even pay attention to 90% of the people on e cig forum.only thing this page is good for is told "no" and "that's wrong"sorry this is so long didn't know i wrote a book and I really hope all you guys have a great day.I mean that
No, mine isn't leaking at all.I only put the tape on because the screw was backing itself out.the first screw was my fault acting all Neanderthal with it and tightened it was to hard lol.so out the second one in and it was just bad.like I said a lot of people are having this problem.so some a couple people mentioned the tape and it works it don't back out.i found a place that's selling longer pins and also, what they say is it's a little bigger so it'll fit better.and again like I stated it's just a temporary thing till another replacement comes in.my point is nobody is going to die.it's ok, but if someone has this problem and they need a simple fast fix.this can help.on another note that Washington quote is great.means so much, he was talking about the future in a way that was very passionate.something we rarely find with people today.to think 200 years ago people fought so hard for America and to keep hold of it.just to have people basically .... on it later.but I guess he was fighting for the right to do that too.kinda ironic

I really dont know if there's any way it would hurt you or not, but I do know astroturf is not a troll or noob. I think it's more of being better safe then sorry. I guess if it were perhaps on the deck, maybe something to worry about, but in the af screw probably ok , might even give the vape a little extra kick

I've used Teflon tape on water pipes years ago. I haven't a clue if it's safe.

That guy also says that SM has a new "metal" AFC grub screw for the Lite. The only metal AFC grub screw I can find is the ones that comes in the clones. Contacted my vendor and they verified that SM only has nylon AFC grub screws.
