All these newer MTL RTAs (Berserker, Siren V2 etc.) "better" than good ol' Kayfun Lite?

Btw I heard that the Berserker has an o-ring on the bottom of the tank that tends to slip? I've been wary of bottom filling for that reason... any comments?

My first Berserker 24mm was a used one I bought from the Classies in January IIRC. It came with the clear, bottom, o-ring missing, so the previous owner must've lost it.

I took out the spare bottom black one and have been using it since then. Only 1 time while bottom-filling and starting to screw the deck back onto the tank ...I've had it slip off and fall onto the tank. Has only happened that once, and I bottom-fill that tank every day at least 4 times.

There is only 1 website that I found, that does carry the Vandy Vape Authentic Accessories Bag for both sizes of the Berserkers. They contain 1 set of black o-rings (top and bottom), some replacement screws, other smaller black o-rings, another key to remove the chimney screw, and the infamous little blue-handled screwdriver. They're found at MyVPro.com and are $3.99/pack.

However, I got poking around and looking at their other accessory bags, and I also bought one of the Avocado 24 Accessory Bags there @ $3.99. I was hoping that maybe the 2 turquoise + 2 orange o-rings in it, that have the same little lip on them as the bottom o-ring of the Berserker 24mm has... might work on the Berserker. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that with a little coaxing it into place with my fingernail...that they actually fit even better (more snugly) than the ones that came with the 24mm Berserkers! I've had a turquoise 1 in mine since I got my order March 8th, and it's never even budged while bottom-filling!

The black o-rings that come in the other, much-easier-to-find Accessory Packs for the Avocado 24 (the packs that also have the orange-handled hex key tool in it)...do NOT work in the Berserker though, as they don't have the little lip that sticks up on them to keep the tank from leaking.

In conversations with Noel, from FT, his merchandisers have said that Vandy Vape has no plans to make just o-rings available, nor replacement drip tips either for either size of the Berserkers. So, if anyone wants at least more Vandy Vape Berserker o-rings (and the other little screws, key, etc. in the accessory bags)...best to get them while some are still available for sale.

ETA: Or...you could just buy a few more Berserkers and have the accessory bags that come in them, too! I kind of ended up going that route after buying a few bags from MyVPro @ $3.99 + S/H for each one. Afterall, for only <$9 more w/Free S/H on each...I got more 24mm Berserkers + accessory bags. :D

I used to like a tight draw, but I didn't get much vapor. Sometimes, more other than not, lately. Rather than such, I just like to inhale. So, I tried those mentioned. I ended up with the Siren V2. More, but more juice, too.

Different, yes, but good flavor. I don't mode the extra juice since I DIY a lot.

Forgive me if I didn't read earlier, I've been a bit busy.....
The Ares is a regular member of my rotation. No leaking, ease of use, reasonable price and good flavour. It definitely deserves a mention in my books.... fa-sha:)

I gotta check out the Kabuki (sp?) I don't know much at all but am under the impression that it is a MTL but don't know enough behind it's claim to fame.

I got a V4 from china (Aliexpress), by "Sub Two", that is rough round the edges, and the glass didn't even fit !. Works as good as the original though. Only in the last couple of months have i bought the Tobeco clones.
Had an authentic for maybe 3 years or more now and used to use it on my Provari, but a single battery tube mod tends to run out of power too quickly.
Thought i'd get the clones before they were no longer available here in the UK.

Here's something for your clones to look down on : Buy kayfun v5 and get free shipping on AliExpress.com

Maybe Primes too : Buy kayfun Prime and get free shipping on AliExpress.com

The Kabuki is a legendary clearomizer made by Zen. It uses any coil that fits in a Nautilus clearomizer.

The were 2 Kabuki P3s for sale in the classifieds recently. P3 only fits on provari P3 devices. The sale price was outstanding so if you have a P3 provari check that out.

It is a US manufactured tank, and yes it is MTL, it is designed to get the maximum flavor and best vape using a Nautilus coil, they come in 0..7, 1.6, and 1.8 resistances. It's 3 ml and bottom fill and crazy expensive. I have two originals and I regret neither purchase, they're awesome.

Also not for everyone, but a lifetime warranty on the tank comes with. Should Zen/HOH continue to manufacture them, and I will say I don't need more Kabukis but I do use them as a vendor when they have equipment I want to buy in the US. I support that company 100%.

Thanks for such an informative reply! I was sorta under the impression that it was very inexpensive to run and very high quality. How much do they cost? Not that I even have a probation p3? I’m just one of those typical vapaholics :) l can always dream...

Aroundish 100--150 dollars, depending on what material you get and how it's set up. They do manufacture straight 510 connection tanks if you want to try one, or you can get a P3 with an adaptor. I wouldn't recommend the latter, frankly, as an additional adaptor can just be a major PITA and etc. Unless you think you will get a mod with a P3 adaptor, get the 510 version and it's usually slightly cheaper than buying an original.

Sad to say, right now it would be far too painful for me to go and look .

I traded one addiction for another, cigs to vape gear, but at least this is much better controlled as far as spending... can’t really even compare it. Cigs are about $15 a pack with taxes for a large (25) premium brand from what I hear and if u r a heavy smoker... someone can correct me but l think small packs of crappy budget smoke go for around $12 for 20 cigs.

Don’t know how much in the US but I think that they are even more costly in the UK.

From the first day I saw a provari I loved them, l saw the price and laughed ironically. I think it may have been the p3, (not 100% sure) had just been released and there was a sale on the older models. There was a puke green with red that reminded me of... yuck.

As with the Proton woot woot, YIPPIE I OH :) all good things come to those who wait or is it, all things worth while are worth waiting for?

Do not put up a link. I REPEAT, PLEASE DO NOT DO IT!
lol

You're safe...because links to listings in the Classifieds aren't allowed. You have to be a "verified" member to even have access to the Classifieds.

There IS however always eBay...where quite a few Provari and some Kabuki are listed right now!
