BR, You would have to make a biiiiiiigggggggggggg one if you used the SS mesh. They eat a lot of juice almost twice as much as a lr atty.

But I do make biiiiiiigggggggggggg ones, heheh. I also make some that eat up a lot of juice. Right now I am testing my twin wick and coil mod on 5 volts. If I want it to use more juice, I can bump the voltage up to about 10 or 12 volts. I don't use SS mesh to do it, though.

So I guess for the tankomizer to even sort of work it would have to have a one way valve built in to the bottle to allow air into the tank while keeping the liquid in.

for that to happen the tank would need to be triple its size, there no room in thier at all to play with so then a custom tank and a outer tank would be needed. ok im off to nap, i stood up all night waiting so im shot right now

Katya,

You ware talking about Vapor Junction.

Weird you say that, cause he only charges me $5.56 shipping, and I get a 10% discount with the coupon code ECF10. It's figured automatically when you place your order, so maybe his computer likes me better.

:p

Tim

Thanks for bringing it to our attention. Travis used to charge $7 flat rate, but he lowered the shipping price. Now it's priority with delivery confirmation. Too bad I can't edit my post anymore.

Whining works. :)

Ok, Katya, we can take our fingers off the order buttons now! :)

It's off.

i need to order something but, like katya, am not willing or able to mod and br is too far away from me, lol

Br, could you dust off that airplane and fly out to help us?

sorry but its a no go

Bad, thank you so much for your dedication and all you're doing to help us all. You're my hero!

Now, at the risk of sounding like your mother, in the future, do you think you could maybe consider shopping in smaller quantities? :facepalm: I don't want you to go broke.

Are you really going to sell those ptb sleeves? I'd gladly buy some from you. Name you price. :)

Let me know if you can't find them, I'll send you a few.
Are you actually using them right of the box or are you washing them out first? I find you HAVE to do that as more than half of them still have somethign nasty in them and when you wash them out you pull the filler ring and when you pull the filler ring good luck in getting it seated back properly and if you don't seat it back properly and/or leave the filler ring off good luck trying to fill/re-fill one in a non-syringed mod, trying to eyeball your fluid so it doesn't encroach the cup slits, etc., etc....

I went to my pharmacy last night and they don't have 3 ml BD's, just 5ml....If this tankomizer isn't goign to work I am goign to have to find some or some terumos or monojects and have a syringe mod fabrication party for sure...and be cool bad if you can get some of those ptb's you were designing out. Whatever happed with CoV?

br,

Weren't you doing some tests on gunk build-up? I'm finding that I get about 30% less vape time between cleanings using a 3Ω E2 at 3.7v versus a 2.6Ω E2 at 2.8v. I'm going to play around with the 3Ω at reduced voltage but judging from the taste difference it seems like the 3Ω at 3.7v is getting hotter, caramelizing my juice faster. Have your high voltage tests yielded similar results?

3.0Ω @ 3.7v ==> 4.56Watts
2.6Ω @ 2.8v ==> 3.01Watts

coincidently works out to a 33% difference.

Crap, I must be smarter than I look.

What's interesting to me is that the lower wattage not only keeps the wick cleaner longer, it tastes better as well. Any ideas on what resistance I'd have to have at 3.7v to mimic a 2.6Ω carto at 2.8v? I guess I'm shooting for approx. 3 watts, correct?

It may not be only wattage, it may be the number of loops and the thickness of the wire.

Looking at McMaster-Carr's link that I posted earlier, they sell so many interesting things. If you look at wire cloth > stainless steel > woven screen they also have 3 types of wire cloth, one of them is chromium based (ferritic), can't you use this kind to replace the coil and the wick that is inside the cup? Nichrome makes a good coil because of the chromium and Iron atoms in the wire.
