br,
Weren't you doing some tests on gunk build-up? I'm finding that I get about 30% less vape time between cleanings using a 3Ω E2 at 3.7v versus a 2.6Ω E2 at 2.8v. I'm going to play around with the 3Ω at reduced voltage but judging from the taste difference it seems like the 3Ω at 3.7v is getting hotter, caramelizing my juice faster. Have your high voltage tests yielded similar results?
I am still doing the test, Banjo. Most of my testing now is with 2.5 volts on each coil. As near as I can tell so far, the gunk buildup is about the same at this power. However, it may not be as hard as before. I'm trying to get an excessive buildup at this time to see if it comes off easier. Naturally, this is with my juice, which may do something different than yours.
For the most part, I have been vaping the 3Ω E2 at 3.1 volts, so can't say how it would compare with 3.7 volts in that regard. Since we were both getting good results with a 2.6Ω E2 at 2.8 volts, I was a bit surprised that you went to 3.7 volts with the 3Ω version.
