Funny. On the motorcycle forums, I see more venom spewed at Audi drivers than at all the other car and truck drivers combined... I see you must be a motorcyclist and a master of irony. :)

i am on a metric bike cruiser forum that has a few Hd guys in it,,they think it is HD forum just because they are there ..funny thing is,,my 750cc stock metric is more reliable, cheaper to fix and will eat any and every HD up to a 1500cc size bike without breaking a sweat

Not to be contrary or anything, but setting the watts means that the unit sets the volts for you, and the volts will automatically change depending on what atomizer you use. That was my understanding, anyway. Did I miss a memo somewhere that says otherwise?

And then there are those darker juices that require a little more oomph to get the flavor. I think all ecig electronics should be VV and VW and whatever comes out after that. Variable temperature would be the next best thing for me.

I've lost track of the original post, but you stated the Provari came with a lifetime warranty. It does not, it comes with a one year warranty with the option of two years at purchase. I just wanted to clarify that as no one else caught it.

well actually it sort of does !! one of mine i bought used over a year ago,,i sent it back after a two story drop and they fixed it for FREE !!

I was going to post that yesterday and forgot. @#$%. Oh well, I can add that should you sell your ProVari to someone else, the warranty does not transfer, but they will still service your device.

I'm on the Russian Iron and Soviet Steeds forums, so I know a bit about how to fix anything Russian built, with a screwdriver or a hammer. ;) WWID? (What Would Ivan Do?) is the motto over there. :) You should see the hatred and loathing some bikers have for Urals. It makes this forum look like a frat party.

This is so amazing! A thread with the word "ProVari" in the title that's gone on for 17 pages without bloodshed!
Can't be having that now...
[Rant]{insert profanity laden verbiage here} all ProVari owners are {insert racial, political and religious slurs here} and they suck on {insert random portion of the human anatomy here} and my {insert various non-ProVari mod here} is so much better than a ProVari because {insert random gibberish here} and because it costs {insert low or high $$$ figure here}. And because ProVari's only have one button and I never want to try one.[/rant]

I'm also tired of the "Well I can buy "X" of (insert mod here) for the same price of one Provari, that's just stupid!" WHY? Why is it stupid if I want to spend MY money on something I think will last and keep working? Why is it your right to call me stupid for not seeing things your way?
Sure, I could have bought 4 Lava tubes for the price of my Provari, but from what I've seen in the quality of the one I own, it wouldn't last me three months of real world use! I looked at the SS Zmax at the same time I was looking at my P, it was going to be around $125 at the time, I didn't see the value in that from the reports I'd read on here. Now they are considerably cheaper, I might have gone that route now, but I wouldn't be happy with the size. I was already tired of the size of my LT!
I wanted the durability and size of my BB, with vv. The Provari mini was the only real option for me, the Vamo wasn't out yet. So I'm stupid for finding something that works for me and fits my needs?
The hate seems to go both ways anymore IMO.

I understand what you are saying but since there WAS a time and that time is no longer should all ProVari owners be looked at as idiots who are members of the Church of the ProVari? I have been seeing a lot of eVic posts lately and I am hoping deep down inside that the eVic become the next ProVari. Not that I am wishing anything ill upon eVic owners but it would be nice to see a post about the Church of the eVic.
Long story short, the eVic has lots of features other mods incl. the Provari do not have that are important to me. I most certainly would appreciate a mod of Provari caliber with many of the functions and features the eVic has, such as battery recharge via cable, a home screen that is always lit indicating voltage, wattage, resistance and battery charge left, lighter weight, easy to re-mod, etc. I'd love to have the best of both, or all worlds. And then I think maybe it's just best to have one of each.

So when I see posts that state this or that is the best mod, nothing said.

I just find it all to be about as fascinating as a pissing contest. In other words, not at all interesting.

Is a Porsche the best car? Not if you need to pull a boat trailer or a camper or if you have three kids in carseats. It's about what you need and what works for you and your vaping style. There is no one right choice of anything that works for everybody. Get over yourself if you think what you own is the be-all end-all PV. It isn't. I use Stardusts all the time. I love them. There are plenty of members who love to hate Stardusts. Doesn't make me cry. Stardusts work for me. What do I care if someone else hates using them and thinks the devil made them in his fiery factory down south. I tried Kangers. Hated them. So what? I don't go into every Kanger thread and complain about how bad they suck just because I don't like them. I'm glad we have lots of options so that every vaper can find what works for him/her. I'm also glad we have lots of ice cream flavors available so I don't have to have a double dip of teaberry (yuck). And I'm glad we all don't have to wear the same exact style of underwear or shoes or use exactly the same laptop or . . . wait, what were we talking about again? Oh, yeah, use whatever PV works for you and stop comparing how far you can pee. Just be glad that you can.

I have Provape bumper stickers all over my car and had some Provari t-shirts, caps done at Cafe Press...not really. I love my Provari but my $42 Vamo is awesome too. There are about 2% of Provari owners that can be irritating. As for why so many others hate Provari, or Provari fanboys(which pisses me off since I was 16 if you addresses me as boy it was yur@ss)I think that's their problem. I could care less.
I wouldn't do it to them and I didn't say that stuff before I bought one.

I equate it to Apple and iPhone fanboys. they tend to be so overbearing and nonscensical about everything. I work with this typical iPhone Hipster who tells me Android sucks because my 3 year old HTC Hero can't make videos, even though I have never attempted to make a video on my phone, therefore it's not a feature that's important to me at all. But if I bought the iPhone, I would start making videos and see how great the iPhone is. I don't care for the iPhone, I don't care for iOS, so these guys single me out. its the same thing with the Provari.

the thing Provari people say that pisses me off is, "Well, if you EVER get the money, you should check one out." Especially when I'm totally considering mods like the PrecisePlus and the Billet Box.

My ProVari is over a year old...a year from now if it breaks I am confident I can get it fixed for little or no money. Name one Chinese mod that can say the same (and having online "updating won't fix a broken chip or switch). Only other mods I would have the same confidence in would be one from Evolv like the Darwin or another US maker like my Bombshell Stinger or BAM. That is the advantage US made mods have over the imports.

I have a Billet Box on the way...and I have confidence if it has issues Dino will take care of it...again a US maker trumps an import...

Does that mean you're going to barge into the ProVari threads and tell everyone they have to get a Billet Box? (Actually, I've envious - they look amazing!)
