Slept great last night. Got up to pee and thought I would check in. How'd you sleep? Good morning everybody.

Sent with no malice and not a whole lot of forethought from my new Galaxy Tab 4. Thanks Santa!

Glad you slept good. Not so much here, but tomorrow is another day! (night)

I don't remember if it was this porch or that one but someone was going to try Pluid.

It was me. Yeah, I'm sure it's not the healthiest thing in the world to vape, but I've wanted to try it for a couple years. I'm sure it won't be an ADV, but I can't get past the curiosity. Just gotta get me a cheap glass tank.

I'm trying really hard to have a positive attitude, today - and am failing miserably! (Health issue. Very serious. Feeling sorry for myself. Don't like it!). If there are any praying folks hanging out on the back porch, I sure could use a few. ^j^ Thanks, and please forgive the totally out-of-the-blue request!

(((((((((((((((((little bird)))))))))))))))))) prayers definitely going up for you. I hope you rest well tonite, and please know that we all care for each other a great deal here, and if you ever need to talk on the thread or in private, you can let any of us know! We're here for you! Whatever you're going through, remember.......God is bigger than your struggle!!

Our dear sweet LB,

Please don't ever apologize for requesting prayers and some positive Karma! Our porch denizens are constantly 'swamping' da 'cosmic switchboard'!!!

BTW, I'm very concerned 'bout Jewels!!!

Think da code is only good fer two of an item. At least dat's what I discovered when I ordered some Nautilus heads.

that was all so well put iffy! Jup, same here, sure wish I knew what was happening with Jewels.......and has Willie been here for the last few days, cuz I don't recall seeing him.

Also, glad you said that about 2 of each item, I was wondering cuz I just tried it, and it didn't seem to give 40, but I had 3 of each in the cart. So will try again with 2. Does anyone know how long this is good for?

So glad you got the puter working. I keep complaining that I need to get some more excercise and hubby said they only way I would is if he fixed our internet to run powered by a bicycle. heehee He may be right but that would be so cruel. I bet I could peddle to California if that was the case.

Have a goodern. . .

lol yeah, but the sleep I was referring to was from 7 am til around 11 am of the 18th. I'm usually up all night and sleep in the day sometime.

No, say it isn't so. I can't believe I went to bed at 8:30 PM. I could hardly keep my eyes open so I decided to say the heck with it a just go to bed. Wife was worried that I would wake back up at midnight and not be able to get back to sleep. I was too but, as we know now it worked out well in the end. I have found lately that no matter what time it is, go to bed when you are tired. If I say no it's too early then I get my second wind and it's all over except the crying. No sleep that night. Deb, I don't know about you but, I hate this sleep bull....!

Sent with no malice and not a whole lot of forethought from my new Galaxy Tab 4. Thanks Santa!

Matt, I've just read recently that what you've done is exactly what you must do to get a good night's sleep, and that is, as soon as you feel sleepy get to sleep within 15 minutes or that window will close and you'll get your second wind.

So, it seems that you followed your natural instinct, and it worked.......good for you!

jup, I used to do the same thing about staying up so I'd sleep at night. Had the same result as you...just about time for bed, and I'd perk right up. Took me a few years to get it....but finally learned to sleep when I'm tired whenever that may be. I'm just nocturnal, always have been. I've worked 8-5, just never slept well when I did. But, I think it is just about bedtime. I'm hungry, so it must be time to go to bed. lol

Good morning, good morning, to you! (cue Debbie Reynolds :)). I had a great night's sleep, thanks to lots of prayer and a bit of exhaustion. Prayed for courage, gave thanks for all y'all, and woke up to this:

How's THAT for an answer to prayer?!

I was diagnosed with a pretty aggressive form of cancer, this past October. Docs were surprised; it seems that I'm both the wrong gender (90+% are male) and 20 years too young to have it. The fantastic news is that we found it early. The bad news is that it has a high recurrence rate, and travels. The good news is that I tolerated the first round of 8 chemo sessions pretty darn well. Not quite as good is that we won't know whether it is working until Feb 11 (when they go back in and look). Assuming it IS working (and I am believing that to be the case!), I will begin "maintenance": 3 chemo sessions each quarter, for 3 years. After each set of 3, we wait 8 weeks, hope a lot, and go back in and look. Lots of waiting, lots of hoping, lots of vigilance. The vigilance goes on forever. I'm not sure why, but yesterday, I lost courage for a bit -- and with it, hope. Then that grace thing kicked in, and you all responded. Woo Hoo! (Dang it! I'm welling up again!)

Blessings!

PS - Matt, I wonder of we could rig up voicemail to respond with that message (on your plaque) to robot alleys (What?! Bad auto-correct! That's, "robo callers!"):)

iffy, I've been thinking about and praying for Wiilie since I read about his then-upcoming tests. Thought I perhaps missed the results ... Will continue to pray!

ok........either I am a genius........or I got very very lucky. (hint....it's the second one)

this computer is so messed up. I finally got it to boot in safe mode....tried to reset a user profile, nothing was in the file that was supposed to be there........finally decided to what the heck.......let's try a system restore....... went back to Jan 7th and the only program it said would be affected was that stinkin adobe acrobat!! It must have done an update without my permission, cuz I never allow it to update. Hate that thing! anyhow, doin the restore I think has worked. We'll see when I shut it back off and try to start it again! lol Now I got lots of catchin up to do on the reading. lol

Dump Adobe. It's very invasive, and not very secure.... and is known to occasionally trash systems with updates.

I use Foxit Reader Free PDF Reader | PDF Viewer Download | Foxit Reader for all my PDF needs, works well, compatible, versions for Windows and Mac, less invasive of the system.

That, and set your machine and software to only alert you to updates, so you know what's being done and when. Makes trouble-shooting a LOT easier :)

Wonderful!

Well, not the diagnosis, but your body's response to treatment!

Indeed, assume it IS working. I recall a fellow some time back, name of Peale, wrote a book about positive thinking - and you'll continue to get positive thoughts, energy and prayers from all of us here to help!
