I have learned one thing, if you are thinking about a DNA20 don't do it unless you are going to sub ohm. It will only turn down to 7w and if you have a new battery in it it will not step down so you vape at about 8.2w on a 1.8ohm. I suppose it would be ok for a 2 ohm build but I'm glad I bought a clone and not the real thing. Could've put another $50 with it and got another Provari. I think I heard the DNA30's do step down but I'm going to stick to my Provari's. I saw another on Kidney Puncher I think that puts out 100w. Guess you could light up a room in a pinch.

dna 30 doesn't step down either. You just hit the nail on head as to why I am planning on building my box mod using the SX350 chip.

My 2 identical DNA 30 mods are all that I'm using these days. My current 1.8 ohm BDC coil in my Nautilus tastes burnt at the approximately 8.5 watts that is the minimum that the DNA 30 will get down to, but the two previous 1.8 ohm BDC coils did NOT impart a burnt taste at my usual 10 to 12 watts. I have no idea why this is so.

I am going to order some of the new heads for the Nautilus the BVC's Do you think with the Provari the 1.6 or the 1.8 ohm would be the best. I have read a lot of good things about these heads. Figured I'd give them a try.

Initially I had the 1.6'ers, then went w/ 1.8Ωs. I like them better 'cause I have a little more range of V settings to play with.

Ah legs, that just infuriates us when we see people parked in those spots that shouldn't and Mike and I have both said something to the people if we catch them - loudly. I wonder what would happen if you parked at the front door and explained that there are no handicap spots? Stores say they can't do anything about it, but they put up handicap signs. Why not one that says they'll be fined without proper handicap signage on their car!

Are we talking about people without the handicapped placard or people with the placard that don't appear handicapped. I am in the latter. I have bad knees that make walking really tough sometimes and COPD that makes breathing really hard sometimes on top of the missing bottom half of my right lung. Sometimes I feel great and like I could run a mile but, that can change almost as quick as you can think it. I park in handicapped even when I feel good because by the time I leave the store I may not be able to breathe without the oxygen I keep in the back seat or walk more than about 20 yards without pain. Just saying that a lot of times the handicap isn't obvious. On the other hand if they are able bodied and have no placard they deserve everything they get. Block em in and call the cops. I wouldn't confront them though cause of all the armed lunatics out there these days. At least a couple of shootings every night on the news. Used to be maybe one a month or so. Ain't worth dying over.

Did you all see where the World Health Organization has come out against E-cigarettes. Want them banned in public and all indoor spaces. They cite the "marketing to children" chestnut and the fact that "no one knows" what's in the vapor and we can't have folks breathing second hand vapor. Folks I am beginning to think that I the big scheme of things we are basically screwed. Gonna build my box mod with heavy duty switches so I don't have to worry about is wearing out, buy my liter of nic and order up a raft of flavors and the hell with em. Might even order a standby SX350 circuit board to hold in hot standby just in case.

Thanks,David! Told you I'm new to some of this. I've been very happy with my sticks & mpv's, but think I'd better start learning to use batteries. Things aren't looking so good and I'm planning for the future.
Matt, what kind of box mod? I have seen Puck's blog but that's all.

That's just plain sick. But, I've learned to be prepared for most of the world (including the gov't) to do sick, insane things. I would be totally discouraged about the state of humanity if it weren't for the fact that most people (face to face, in person) are a lot more open-minded than that. The media makes the world and humanity seem so much worse than they really are.

I'm with you on preparedness also. It killed me to not buy into that MFS special on nic. But, it's time to focus elsewhere for now. Time to print out instructions for homemade mods and stash minimal supplies just in case.

And, maybe another REO when tax time rolls around.

I know it may seem a bit paranoid. And, maybe it is. Too bad.

If you want a Vamo V3/V5 (They're the same thing except for the swirly pattern on the V3), take a look at this. It's a more compact version. I have a thing for gripper-style mods if you haven't noticed.

The only thing to watch out for with a Vamo is the 510 connector. Although that's a weak point on a lot of mods. It would be wise to get yourself an eGo to eGo/510 extension to protect your threads (whether on a Vamo or any other mod). I got mine at ljesmokes.com.

Yes, I thought so. I have the Mukey on my wishlist at fastech. It is heavier than a regular vamo, but if you like a tube mod that approaches the box mod format, it should work for you.

It does have some reviews. The one that made me stop reading is... top vent hole for the batt? Let's hope the battery doesn't pop when you're taking a hit on it! You'll need a pirates eye patch.

No, I realize some people don't appear handicapped and sometimes it's hard to tell. I mean people who pull into that space with the placard, reach in and grab the kid and run into the store. Or the guy in the baseball uniform that has to stop at the store on the way to the game. Or the person who just doesn't want to walk in the rain. And then there's all those without the placard... I think there was a woman on the news awhile ago who actually took photos of the cars in those spots and turned them in. Some people were really upset she was doing that. I don't get it.
