What Iffy is talking about is that the
juice that I left in the Philippines was originally in a refrigerator that went out right after we left. We opted not to repair it until we returned - so the
juice was transferred to a box (more like a crate where clothes are being stored). Now this
juice was in a amber bottle encased in a 1.5 in styrofoam package that I crafted just for it. There was no way any light was getting to it and it should have been protected to some extent from the heat. When I left it was clear as you could possibly want it to be and was caramel colored/peppery after one year even with all the protection (it was vapable though - that would have been devastating if it had not been - I rationed what I took with me and vaped some of the old stuff along the way).
Just makes me wonder how each individual component would hold up in the same environment. That is what I am going to try on my next trip.
I poured it out before we left (I know juice abuse), but now kind of wish I had left it for another year - just to see the impact.
