Phil, let 'em know what happened. Pretty impressive storage story!

What Iffy is talking about is that the juice that I left in the Philippines was originally in a refrigerator that went out right after we left. We opted not to repair it until we returned - so the juice was transferred to a box (more like a crate where clothes are being stored). Now this juice was in a amber bottle encased in a 1.5 in styrofoam package that I crafted just for it. There was no way any light was getting to it and it should have been protected to some extent from the heat. When I left it was clear as you could possibly want it to be and was caramel colored/peppery after one year even with all the protection (it was vapable though - that would have been devastating if it had not been - I rationed what I took with me and vaped some of the old stuff along the way).

Just makes me wonder how each individual component would hold up in the same environment. That is what I am going to try on my next trip.

I poured it out before we left (I know juice abuse), but now kind of wish I had left it for another year - just to see the impact.

How are you doing Dennis? Good I hope. :)
it's all good

i've been advised to take anti-depressants, but, honestly, venting on ecf has been my anti-depressant of choice for several years now.

so, i'm good. i imagine, i'll always end up "good" until i take that last fateful step.

bless everyone for offering me support in this thread.

totally out of character for me to say, but i love you all

Too often the "wake up" doesn't bring the sun, but forces us to face ugly reality instead...
and you were the one who first told me to get anti-depressants...

we ALL just need to take another shot of courage, baby

Well, being kind of new to the porch and doing extensive reading I have come to several conclusions:

1. The humans here care.
2. The humans here listen.
3. The humans here are more often then not thought full.
4. Sometimes we talk about Vaping (which is just fine)
5. Love, human kindness, caring and sharing is what makes this place my e-home!
6. We are all human.

Thanks all,
Dan
