Older Folks and Vaping Back Porch - Part Five

They claim that's from the "Summer Formulation". BS!

Since I was without a car for over 2 years until 6 months ago, I wasn't keeping up with what the pumps had at the gas station. Now, I get my gas mostly at Sheetz, because it's the cheapest place and I like their sub sandwiches.

Anyway, there's 3 different kinds of fuel, plus of course different octane levels. The 3 types are Flex Fuel which I'm pretty sure wouldn't be good for the 13 year old vehicle I bought. Then there's a fuel that can contain up to 15% cornathol (can't remember what that's called). The sign says that should only be used in vehicles 2002 and newer. Mines 2003, and I haven't tried it, but it's about 10 cents less per gallon than the regular, which can contain up to 10% of the cornathol. I don't know what to get so I get the kind with the least corn.

I don't know if there will be yet another formulation for summer. The ones at Sheetz have been the same since I got my used car in September.

Sorry for the giant pic! No, I am in middle, middle GA. We're under a tornado watch and flood watch now. Lots of damage in the area, including the air force base. A house burned down after a lightning strike. Folks without power.

The chicken coop and run look fine, but too much lightning for me to go down there. lol

@Semiretired is in that area too, and I saw on the news early this morning that a tornado was keeping him company. I was glad to see him post.

My Quadcopter is just a cheapie Tarantula X6, but hubby has the Phantom 3 Standard. His is awesome.

Ooh, more quad flyers! I have a Standard, and a Pro as well, so I'm an addict, and had to talk myself myself out of an Inspire II.

I love my guitars, but I just don't have enough talent. My fingers are long, but skinny. I can't play a barre chord for nothin'! I try the alternate ways of playing those chords and it just doesn't sound right.

Not enough talent? You've got enough that you love your guitars and that's all anyone has! I can't play clean barre chords either so I've learned to make "easy F" sound good enough for my own enjoyment. I also have long, relatively thin fingers.

I got a new toy today, a $200 12-string guitar instead of the MUCH more expensive quad copter that I was thinking of getting. Man, I sure saved money on that deal!

It will take a good number of hours before I approach the level of "almost halfway mediocre" (an official designation) that I had achieved 40 years ago on the geetar, but successfully playing 3 chords means I can do some Neil Young stuff. Shoot, I figured trying to learn to play on all six was too hard so I got rid of E,A,D,B and E. I had trouble learning to play just the one string that was left.

Quite right. Everybody else is out there trying to decide which one they like. You already know.

Played a lil' bit as a teener. Just couldn't get comfortable doin' a full barre. But fer sum odd reason, when I picked up a git after several decades of no git, t'was like I was born to barre. I have no explanation fer da new found capability.

Will say, da older I get, da more I ferget 'bout da git... not 'nuphph practice obviously...

I'll let you know about the breeze. I'm hoping it's more like mint. I thought I'd start by mixing 5mls with and 5mls without...

The breeze isn't really menthol, more like koolada, a cooling sensation.

And @bigbells it's Birdie not Gracie but all good. I mixed 2 porchers myself the other day.
