I'd suspect the tubes, Matt. Although if the ballast area is hot - not warm, hot - the ballast is the more likely culprit.

Or it could be the motion detector is failing.

Hah, you thought you only had two pieces to look at! ;)
I think it's going to be cheaper to just buy a whole new fixture. :)

Buffalo! Tis yum! I've always wanted to try moose, bear, elk, & caribou. Never had an opportunity for those..
Bear ain't so hot. Never had moose. Elk and Caribou taste the same to me but, Buffalo now that's good eats and I dont like game much. Buffalo is domestically raised for people to eat these days. You can almost get Buffalo steak at your local steakhouse these days. Not quite though cause it's still a little pricey. The high end places all have it now and I can buy it at the commissary. Don't much, reference the pricey comment. :)

Is that our porch? Don't remember it being quite so beautiful or relaxing. Good conversation though. Morning Gracie, hope you have a wonderful day.

True! I'm old enough to remember beef & pork that had none of the additives, & it was much better! I am a carnivore!
Ain't it the truth we started getting Costco organic hamburger and it is like hamburger used to be. We got so sick of paying high prices and getting stuff that doesn't taste like beef why not spend a little more and get something good.

When I was stationed in Alaska the locals, this was in 67 and 68 would wait for a young one to come on their land and bag one a year. These are wild but they are excellent. I'm sure it is a lot different now as far as poaching one but back then nobody thought anything of it there were so many in that area. Talking Buffalo

Maybe a Costco will open up closer to me than Raleigh one of these days. I hope so.

And now for something completely different. The flying is not smooth at all, but the needle-threading is good!

You know it is amazing to me how fast the gas is goiing up. Up to $2.15 here. Of course since we have no state income tax we have the highest tax on everything else. Cigs are up to about $9 a pack in the store now or more. We always go to Idaho for Ginnys though still $2.10 a pack for the Indian brand on the Rez over there. Liquor I am not sure of cause I never even look at it at Costco but the tax is out of site. You know how the sin tax is on that kinda stuff. 9% sales tax on everything except food. Somehow we voted in a flat rate for car licenses of $30 but they have managed to add a bunch of extra fees so it brings it to $60. When I lived in S.Dakota they had a great law that on a vehicle the sales tax was only paid once when the car was new and after that there was no sales tax again no matter how many times it was sold. Not here though 9% everytime which is a lot of money over the life of a car unless you are like us and keep them forever. If they ever are able to start taxing ecigs and juice you can bet it will be a bunch.

Well more good news. When they did the xray of my ribs they saw severe calcification of my mitral valve. I go in for my echo in a month and he will be able to tell me more. If it means that I have to have my mitral valve replaced they probably would have to replace the aortic root and the aortic valve and the survival of that is not good like <80% and given all the other problems probably less then that. I really won't know till they do the echo.
