Spending the day readying things to be packed. Also getting a weeks worth of dinners together for the hubs. A menu of heat and eat wife cooked dinners that won't cause his glucose meter to alarm on him while I'm gone.
Well, at least I can keep up now!!![]()

Yep, getting ready preps are the same as if we were going up North......and take the same amount of time which is a LOT!What is this? Deb gets on a plane and the place dies? Jeez. Of course there are others of us attending to so making ready preps are probably occupying a bunch. Just made a 120ml batch of strawberry flavored juice for the trip. At least now I'll find out for sure if my taste buds are truly shot or I'm doing something wrong. Back later, still cleaning the car.![]()
Well, this is my second post of the day, which is fairly normal cause I'm not a heavy poster. So, with me here, you'll have no problem.Well, at least I can keep up now!!![]()

Didn't you have your tags turned off? It' s just making sure you didn't miss anything once you turned them on!You are close to ME, then.
On an unrelated note, a couple of days ago, my email got in undated with 237 notices that I was mentioned in posts.
I guess there was a clog, and last week's efforts opened the floodgates. They were up to a year ago!
Cute!I hope everyone has a great time in Florida. OK, I admit I am a bit of a geek. I have always liked Star Wars ever since it first came out. Another thing I like is Legos. So it was only natural that I started combining the two. I have a nice collection of Star Wars Lego kits. I am talking the kits that have 500+ pieces. These kits usually come with a couple of the small figures in them. Over the course of collecting and putting these together, I have come up with quite a few extra figures. Today I sat down and using a clock kit from Hobby Lobby, I put together a Star Wars Lego clock. The nice thing about it is I can always swap out the figures when I want to have a different looking clock.

Well the biggest difference is I think your drive is 3 or 4 hours? Mine on de udder hand is between 13 and 14. Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining (too loudly) and can't think of anyplace I would rather be going but, I sure thought we would be moved to Deerfield Beach by now. Doree is going to finish with the painting while I'm gone. She loves to paint while I, on de udder hand, don't have the patience for it. After I get back it's about a weeks worth of work on the motorhome and off to the consignment dealer. They on the other hand have about a weeks worth of repairs that have to be done as well. One a/c needs to be replaced, the generator won't start, the furnace doesn't work and the dash a/c is shot. I was really working on all of it when I was diagnosed with cancer and it kind of lost it's priority. I have one of those warranties that we've been playing on since I got it but at the time the deductible was higher than I could afford. That's why I'm glad we're driving....
Had to fly a few months ago, and I had been away for 3 months, so I had a LOT of vape gear, and didn't want to chance it, so I mailed all the gear home.....it was there the day after I got home.
