Yesterday was a busy day. Made some phone calls in the morning dealing with
insurance issues. Also made calls to arrange the rest of the day. Washed dishes and gathered up towels and washcloths.
Went to foodbank, they had loads of produce. Some didn't want to deal with putting it up, and ended up with very little. My dehydrator is busy. Set up the trays inside my new oven, and it is running much more efficiently than the original heater element. Got a whole bunch of kale, and will wilt it and freeze it for soups.
We dropped off the groceries (leaving the frozen stuff and stuff to be frozen outside), and picked up my dirty laundry. She dropped me off at the $5 for all you can wash laundromat. Had a nice time sitting in the restaurant, reading and
vaping. Talked with two truckers. One asked me if I
vape other stuff. Told him not in this state. Asked me if I would if it were legal. Said I might look into it. (actually, contemplating a move, I have) Another babbled about his plans for a truckers only truck-stop, just hates locals and campers. The usual waitress was not there. She is fun to talk with.
Called a neighbor who came over and picked me up when the laundry was done (pre-arranged). Spent the rest of the evening putting stuff away. Suffered the usual consequences of having caffeine after my noon cut-off.
