Mine was ready for a charge today. It has been a while.
Mine still has 2 bars on the battery indicator but I just charge it once a week anyway.

It is 3 years old I think. The other one was kinda broken when a cow pinned me against a chute. Heifers are nuts.

Two bars is recharge time.

Bulls are more nutzier. Rocky mountain oysters should be sold at every grocery store in the country.

Good morning Good Folks, got a little frisky last night, eh? I would join in, but (according to some mods) I stepped a bit over the line about 7-8 months ago (in a different way). Having a post unexpectedly deleted kinda soured me for a while... but I'm baaaaack!

........ This is my favorite Griswold pan. It may be older than me ... it was my Dad's and I always remember it around the house. It's one of the 'things' of his I wanted when he passed. Remember him every time a fry an egg sandwich.

Now THAT is one cool CI pan!... never seen one like it.

...... Not that long ago I was looking into care and restoration of CI and I was surprised that there were so many very good sites out there. ........

Lots of CI sites now, not so many a few years ago... restoration must be catching on - this is a good thing.

Ordered one tonight (under $25 shipped from Vaper Beast).

Thank you for that tip, I'll check out VB. I need to get my wife a new mod, so I can get my istick 30 back. With all the slick new mods out since I last shopped, I thought the price of a plain-jane ol' istick 30 would be way down by now but haven't found an authentic under $30 yet.

Wait, actually the Kbox mini is not what I was thinking of... too big for my wife - she doesn't like mine for her daily use. Any suggestions for an inexpensive "girl-size" mod? She likes the size/performance of the iStick 30, and neither of us need TC, high power, or a lot of bells and whistles.

eta:
It's the Kbox Nano I was thinking of... 'scuse my ignorance - I'm still catching up on the current offerings. Most sites only offer it as a "kit" though... and we already have a Nano atty.

Maybe I should just get myself something else, like a couple of mech clones from FT, and let her keep the "30"...

Posting from my new phone woo hoo it rocks
Congrats
its a nexus 5
That's a nice one. Pure android without all the bloatware thats normally added.
No problem, I just thought you knew something I didn't about it being bad for the pans. You're right CI is wonderful and deserves just a little attention to remain that way. I've seen some sad cases that weren't, but had no idea at the time that they could be saved.
Doree loves her CI. Nice thing is if they do get a little rusty they can be restored to like new with just a little work.
Yeah! B E L L Y B U T T O N S !!!
Me too. Always liked a flat tummy with a cute inny. (Too much information?)

I've been watching for those & the 40w to go down in price also. I love the size to park in my little crossbody bag for errand running. I don't like to drive using my heavier mods. I'm too fumbly for that.

Look at the IVP d2, which has a changeable battery or onboard charging. Or the istick 40w which just has onboard charging. Ignore the tc part, you dont have to use it, you can just use your regular aty's & coils, but they give a longer battery life because you don't use the tc or high watts. They are both small, like your 30w. I have a couple of mods that have the tc, but it's just an option, you don't have to use it. But the battery life is great.

Hey Matt! How is Doree's mom doing?
She's in hospice but seems to have plateaued (sp). Neither improving nor getting worse. They have told use that this could last a while. They've seen people last for several years at this stage. Honestly the unspoken wish (until now) is that she doesn't because it's not much of a life. We are confident enough that we are going back to Virginia to finish moving on the 20th . Thanks for asking, everybody's support and concern is greatly appreciated. :)

We wish Mom, & both of you the best of all possibilities to make this move go as smoothly as can be. I know that there is a great deal that needs to be done to make it happen. You are all in my prayers daily.
