Question, what do you nice folk use for antivirus software. I have used Norton for several years because my son gets it free from the Military and he can share it with family. It has expired, he is away at school, and I am thinking of trying one of the free bees. Any recommendations?

I use Windows & use MS Essentials Security, & Malwarebytes. That's it. They catch stuff very well. I did buy the full version of both, too. Periodic full scans & automatic quick scans daily. I've had my big LT for 5 years now with no issues.

Gracious...I'm gone a short while and come back and you've moved the porch. Not only that, but there are already nearly 50 pages on this one. I won't even try to catch up. Argh! Haven't seen anybody in the HO the last few times I went in. Where is everybody?

Just saw this in my mailbox and got really angry:
A bill -- HB 1143 -- has been introduced in the Florida Legislature which would prohibit the use of electronic cigarettes and vapor products in the same places where smoking is banned. In fact, vaping would also be banned in places that are currently exempted by the Florida Clean Indoor Air Act such as, for example, bars, tobacco shops, and other private businesses. This bill does not provide an exemption for vapor retail shops. Moreover, there is troubling language in this bill suggesting that even possession of a vaping device would be prohibited in “smoke-free” areas.

Sorry to hear about the hamstrings @Iffy. My daughter broke her foot and went into a foot brace today to immobilize it. Dr. wants her off her foot for eight weeks...yeah with three kids five and under. I can help what I can, but I'll be OOT for a week in the middle of this at Sleuth Fest in Deerfield Beach. Sheesh...the complications of life.

You Tube channel Suck My Mod has a video with a shop owner in FL that discusses this. He does a lot getting advocacy info out. The Senator that put the bill up got the idea from a school kid. Apparently he asks for ideas for bills on his website & chose this one.

I have that on the pc that's running Win 7.....it's a free download. With Win 8, 8.1 and 10....they switched to Windows Defender....also free and should come with those OS.

Although this is the only post I quoted, thank you everyone. I love y'all! My laptop is running Windows 7. I looked it up and will make the switch when I have more time. 10 pm is not good for me to mess with the computer setup!

Me too. I already feel like a criminal when I go out. People look at me like I'm a drug addict. I guess, technically speaking, I am, but it sucks, especially when little kids ask questions and their parents yank them back.

We have so many REAL problems down here, surely they can focus their time and our tax money on something more vital than this.

Greetings Earthlings!! Yes, I am still on this planet......just at work.

It was a magnificent day on the island today after the hellacious rain storm that we had last night. Rain storms on the island are fascinating to me. I just make sure I stay inside away from the lighting. It was SO bad last night, I could have sworn we were in the middle of a hurricane. That rain in the metal roof of the hangar made me want to go to sleep!

Have any of you ever used Mom and Pop Vapor Shop? They have a couple of side filling carto tanks that I think might make my divers more useful. I just have never heard of them before.

Not since a short time after I started vaping. They were quite popular on ECF when everyone was using carto tanks. I can't recall anything bad....most posts I remember really liked them...

If I recall right, I got my first tank from them. It was called the stone tank and was a precursor to the vivi nova tank. It's what got me through my first month of vaping....
