Well, it WAS kind of ugly, mentioning the 'meds' thing. I've been on anti-depressants for years and cannot stand it when someone asks if I 'missed' a dose. It's just not nice. But, like you said, you can do what you want, say what you want. I personally won't care, that is......unless I 'miss a dose'. Then, you'll have a Ragin Cajun on your hands. lol

Since you're fairly new to the porch and would be unaware of the history here....his comment about the meds wasn't ugly, as the person has often mentioned them and told the porch more than once, when on them to disregard posts and tell her to shut up.
Hey, dat was one grand gathering considering I met several porchers! Not to get overly sentimental, but it was a memorable experience.
If any ECFer/porcher has an opportunity to meet up, trust me, ya won't regret it! There is an intrinsic bond that dissolves any political, racial, religious, economical, etc. boundaries!!! It's priceless...

As the newly appointed person in charge of opening and closing the back porch.....I don't want to see it devolve into something that's not friendly and where discussions can't be had by all.

Just appreciate, and hopefully relish our 'diversity'... Considering our 'mature genre' here, does anyone really expect any 'mountain top' conversions?
In my experience on da ECF and especially da porches, I've yet to find an evil personality. If anything, I've been pulled into a fabulous forum that gives more than takes. And THAT in itself is priceless...

Yea, he's a keeper. Love his music. I love the Balfa Brothers too. There was a ride at Ponchartrain Beach (amusement park in New Orleans) when I was a kid called the Ragin Cajun.
