Just exhausted from work and hospital visits.

This was a scary scary situation.

We'll do what we can. Now you need to watch your own health, especially during this season!

And thanx fer da update!

Interesting dat youse guys know what day when youse quitted. I just passed 2 years in December but no clue what day it was. But that could be that I had no intention whatsoever of quittin.

Went to Dr. today. X-rays. Confirmed arthritis in neck and left hip. Rx for a NASID which does not rip the gut like ibuprofen does. Also an Rx for large quantity of meclizine. OTC you can only get a few pills at a time. Took one of each, and napped like a baby. Feeling much better.

NSAIDS are what Ibuprofen is but some are less harmful to the stomach. You might google the one you got and see what they say about it. I can't take NSAIDS because of my stomach and neither can Ginny. Ibuprofen is what started her stomach bleed. Just thought I would let you know about that.

I've been on an NSAID since 1997. It's Celebrex. Never had a problem with it. It works much better than ibuprophen. I was taking 9 otc ibuprophen a day when I was diagnosed with RA. NSAID stands for Non Steroidal Anti Inflamatory Drug. There are many.

Celebrex? Does it have any issues? Does it affect the liver, kidneys, gall bladder, or whatever?

We all crack sometimes. All you can do is push on. You're doing great!

Probably at some point. I haven't had problems & I have to get bloodwork every 3 months because of several of the meds I take. But I drink so much water I probably keep everything flushed out.

Today is my official
2 year vapeversary!!! Never thought it could happen. Thank you, my friends, it is because of all of you that I made it.
I hope you have many more years smoke-free. Just remember that if you ever quit vaping, you can always return-- to vaping.

Naproxin didn't help me. The next step was Celebrex.
Worried about the heart complications with that. With parents and all four grandparents just got the willies about it. Genes are not in my favor.

When I die, I want all major organs to go caput at once. So far, my health problems are only inconveniences.

Viox is the one that had the problems with heart issues & was discontinued. Celebrex was cleared of all that. I have the same history on one side of my family. I've done all the heart tests several times & they haven't shown anything. Side effects are only possibilities. Not definate. And some that are listed are cya type warnings. My view is I'm taking it as long as it's this well monitored since RA can also effect the same organs. I can stop the drug. I can't stop the RA.
