Celebrex did not help me. Strange...Naproxin didn't help me. The next step was Celebrex.
When I die, I want all major organs to go caput at once. So far, my health problems are only inconveniences.
Celebrex? Does it have any issues? Does it affect the liver, kidneys, gall bladder, or whatever?
There are so many different kinds of arthritis. What works on one type for one person might not work on another kind or for someone else. I take the DMARD Methotrexate & it works great & I have no issues with it. It's the 1st choice for RA, but not everyone can take it. It was developed for some cancers, including breast cancers. They discovered in the 70's that it kicks RA's ###. I actually had some friends whose mother had been bedridden with RA for several years. I remember vividly when they found Methotrexate & put her on it. She got out of that bed & got some of her life back. She hadn't been anywhere in her own home outside of the bedroom & bathroom in about 6 years.Celebrex did not help me. Strange...
Hey Roto I told the hubby about you getting into the spirit of Mardi Gras on the way to work (or at least the parade). He enjoyed that one immensely and said to thank you for the much needed chuckle. Then he told me the following story to pass to you.
When he and his brothers were teenagers the country folks down the river where his family are from used to keep the OLD tradition of riding mardi gras.
You start off sounding pretty good. Then you get to the losing another aircraft. How many did ya'll have originally?Well, today is day #5 out of 11, and I'm not dead yet. The weather has been beautiful, but cold and windy. The days are getting longer, which I like very much! People keep razzing me about all that big money I'm making by working overtime. Yeah right......tell that to Uncle Sam with his greedy azzzz.
My normal crew came on today minus one who is home sick right now. Work has been steady, but I just learned that we are losing another aircraft at the end of the month. That will put us down to four. Only time will tell what is going to happen down here. I guess I'll stick it out to the bitter end.
thanks sweetie! No ma'am, it's not hot by the time you pour it in the jars... otherwise the alcohol would evaporate... let the boiled mix get to room temp. before you stir in the Everclear, etc. and then bottle it up.
what is the meclizine for? Usually that's for motion sickness. They gave me that when I had bad bouts of vertigo. Glad you're feeling better though! Funny, Ibuprofen never messed with my stomach.....didn't even need to eat with it. But one time they put me Naproxen, and just one or two doses, and my stomach was torn up. I have a lot of reflux from a hiatel hernia and the Naproxen made it a zillion times worse. Also an Rx for large quantity of meclizine. OTC you can only get a few pills at a time. Took one of each, and napped like a baby. Feeling much better.![]()
Hang in there sweetie!! It's ok to crack a bit. Crying is cleansing. Then just wrap yourself back up and keep on going. That's all any of us can do. My faith helped me through.Warning, self indulgent whining ahead...
Been trying to keep myself positive, sometime i believe it. Its hard, and i crack sometimes, but im smiling and pushing through.

Seems like they know what they have in you sweetie......if they kept the idjit on.....I can't imagine you losing your job. They keep offering you OT, seems like you're their go to gal!Only time will tell what is going to happen down here. I guess I'll stick it out to the bitter end.
I hope having your normal crew there with you makes it better for you, & hope the wind dies down some, too. We've been getting a lot of wind, too, but longer daylight helps. My mockingbirds came back the other day & was checking out the little tree next to my patio where they always nest. I love listening to them. Then it got cold again & they disappeared. What is your dog?
By the way, where is everybody?![]()
I don't care what other people say... sometimes you just gotta get on youtube and do a search for Abbot and Costello, then follow random next links until you laugh so much you just can't breath right for 10 minutes.Warning, self indulgent whining ahead...

We started off with eight. We even had a few big birds. Yep, not looking pretty out here at all.You start off sounding pretty good. Then you get to the losing another aircraft. How many did ya'll have originally?

Of course, I'm more comfortable with my regular crew, but I've worked with the other guys, so it's all good. I am SO loving the fact that we are having more daylight!! At the moment it's only six days to go. Who knows what will happen towards the end of the hitch. We'll see, but I have to go home some time!!I hope having your normal crew there with you makes it better for you, & hope the wind dies down some, too. well maybe things aren't so bad if they're looking to replace him instead of downsizing.Hell, nobody has even applied for my opposite's job. They've only posted it internally right now. We shall see what we shall see.
So glad to hear that they have a plan that works for you and doesn't cause stomach up.Went to Dr. today. X-rays. Confirmed arthritis in neck and left hip. Rx for a NASID which does not rip the gut like ibuprofen does. Also an Rx for large quantity of meclizine. OTC you can only get a few pills at a time. Took one of each, and napped like a baby. Feeling much better.![]()

Only in your dreams!
There is a lot of overlap between triggers and symptoms of Meniere's and fibromyalgia. If you had vertigo, just another part of the package. Remember that the sense of balance occurs primarily in the ears.what is the meclizine for? Usually that's for motion sickness. They gave me that when I had bad bouts of vertigo.
