He was so proud to claim a year vaping (aka totally smoke free). He was one of my first v-verters years ago. He tried and tried, but always struggled. Kinda lost regular close contact with him a few years ago due to his third try with Hepatitis C treatments. Only saw him maybe twice a year. And that was all too traumatic for him in that he was losing his capability to think straight and, especially vocalizing his thoughts.

So sorry for all he's going through........but wahoooooooo so happy he's made it a year!!! That's fantastic! So wonderful you were and still are there to help him. Don't matter how many git away.......it's the ones that do it that count. And jup......never know when it will click with one that fought it.

but ya can't hide those apparently so they don't lie either. Actually mine did one time. When I was in HS, I was at my best friend's house and her cousin was there visiting from out of state. I didn't know the girl, so didn't have a lot to say. I tended to be rather shy in those days! Believe it or not often still am in person. anyhow.......I was just enjoying listening to them talk. Later my g/f took me aside and asked why I hated her cousin! what???? Apparently I'd been sittin there lookin daggers at her and had no idea. I liked the girl. I didn't know it til many years later, but I did have a rage in me at that time, and I reckin when I was kinda lost in my own thoughts, it would sometimes come across in my face when I had no conscious negative thoughts about a situation.
