You're so fortunate to see them beautiful creatures up close and personal!

It REALLY IS wonderful. It's not only in the area we live, Moose, Black & Brown Bears and sometimes even Red Fox & Wolves make their way all the way into the "Big City" of Anchorage, even more so in Fairbanks. This particular Momma has been a "regular" for the past 6 years we've lived here. We see her and "her latest" most of the Winter and through the Spring and then again as Fall sets in. We think she likes showing off her "children";).
We'll update everyone from time to time and the back porch can have an adopted Momma Moose!

Do you remember it? If I were on my own puter, I could show you a photo of my Aunt that would make you feel better. She wasn't in a coma, but at 83 I think, fell down a long flight of stairs broke 14 bones......I'm thinkin a coma would sound pretty good having to deal with that. Just knock me out and wake me up when I'm healed. Hurts me every time I see the photo. So I don't look at it much.

I would love to see that sometime......but it would have to be when it's warmer, I can't deal with cold very well at all.

I saw that one, but the one I had seen years ago the guy was washing the elephant and it was so much funnier.

Yanno yur in trouble if ya get pulled over and say officely honester I'm not as think as you drunk I am.

sometimes with equal or lower rank the civilian comes out in ya. Ya actually once in awhile call someone by their first name even.
I do remember parts of it. It was crazy, I was at a psychedilic party everybody was trippin even the cops and the firemen. We were all laying on the floor and we just melted together with our heads sticking up. That was one I had over and over. I had some others that this happened in an Italian restauraunt and they took me to the hospital but I was actually in the hospital getting an infusion that put me into like anaphalaxis and I stopped breath thus the respirator. I had some other dreams too but it was crazy it was like I was only asleep overnight.

yabbut, I thought that was a phone typo, cuz yesterday it wuzn't makin sense in my head. Now it did finally.

I hate those things......or more to the point folks makin fun of the pics. Why? Cuz I figger... even though I rarely ever go to one anymore, I've probably been in some of those pics, and folks were makin fun of me!! [emoji38]

well I kept his the same......but I wrote how my brain was reading it. But Daniel and I ran some errands, and my brain got some fresh air, and now I see where the error was that I made.

hehehe well........if nuttin else, ya gotta admit......I keep ya on yur toes!!! [emoji38]

ohhhhhhh that one does drive me nuts. Also when they want you to be more pacific. (specific) I've always had way bigger stuff to get tweaked over for the most part than how someone talks or spells, but those two do bug me.

Say it aint so...........I wanna see ya when I git there!!

YOU git cookies!!! [emoji38]

emojies. But but but.......sometimes and emoji says it all! Hmmm I get a red line under emojies, but not emoji. Let's try emojis newp red line there too. Apparently yur not allowed to have more than one of em. :D

huh?? [emoji38]

same with bananananana. Ancient joke, boy asked girl do you know how to spell banana? She said Jup! (really she did) I just don't know when to stop!

Is to a nice place? Never been there......but..........I'll be in Florida tomorrow!!! Wahooo still don't seem real!

don't say I never did nuttin for ya! ;)

we got y'alls rain. yesterday was at least 89......but today is 64 and rainy. But...... word of my fryin pan must be gittin to mother nature too. 3 times while running errands, the rain would start just a tad, and I told it to stop........ 3 times it stopped!!! 4th time it said poo on you I'll rain if I wanna, yur not the boss of me.
I think plural of emoji is emojii

I rented a 12' boat one time with an out board and we went up the river right by Delta got up a ways and went into a little pond off the river and there was a huge bull moose eating the stuff off the bottom of the pond. Needless to say we turned around and got the hell out of there. They have been known to not be real friendly at times.

Another time me and a buddy were having some illegal herbs and decided to pull off the road, I was in the army there stationed at Greely. We thought we'd watch the northern lights. They are so bright there they light up the snow anyway we were laying on the hood and we heard this noise and a herd of Carribou came running through all around the vehicle lucky none tried to jump over. Talk about too high.

Good grief! 13 pages to catch up on! Yikes. Just gonna jump in here and try to catch up later.

This week was planned for getting everything ready to leave on Sat. for the Odyssey. Oh well, best laid plans and all that. This past Sunday our DIL called to say the roof got damaged in the last wind storm, then we had the rain and snow which caused some heavy leakage in the apartment upstairs causing those tenants to abandon their apartment. That left our DIL wondering what was going to happen in her apt. when they were no longer there to empty the buckets. So, we've had our DIL and the golden child here since Sunday. We got word today that the roofers are coming tomorrow so DIL and Miles will be going home on Thurs. Our son is away on business. It looks like we're going to have to hustle to get everything ready and packed on Friday, but we'll manage. We'll probably forget something, but oh well. Just hope I don't forget to pack something important like the undies!!

I'm sure that things have changed a lot, back then it was really a wild place. You could drive the 5 or 6 miles from Greely to Delta Jct and never see another car. We would take off on the weekend and go to Fairbanks about 110 miles as I remember it. That was when it was illegal to not stop for a hitchhiker in the winter. Maybe see 4 or 5 cars. There was one place about halfway there gas station and bar and we'd always stop. Most of the old gals customers got there by snowmobile across this big lake. Talk about some rugged folks. Of course this was in the winter and really cold like 30 or 40 below. I had an older Studee and the power steering would freeze if you hit a long straight stretch and didn't turn it a little. The joke in Delta was the time the cop had been sitting in the cop shop or restauraunt for a long time and somebody went flying by. He jumped in his car and took off in pursuit and shattered all 4 tires. You had to drive slow till your tires rounded out he forgot.
