I heard the word around the Houston / Galveston area is you can party down with the best .. and at last years Willie Nelson 4th of July Picnic, you were stage dancing with David Allan Coe .. OK, OK, I know I promised to keep it on the down low, but dang, girl ..

Laid Back Beverages seem to be all the rage .. somehow claiming to do the exact opposite of an Energy Drink (disclaimer :: I have never, nor will I likely ever, partake of any Energy Drink other than Java, although I did need to go thru a 12 step program for Mountain Dew addiction some time back..

The last Willie's New Years Eve concert I went to involved my hair, which was long enough to sit on, & the kids behind us lighting it up with their fireworks. People started slapping me on the head & I thought it was a fight because they'd already been asked to stop. I jumped up h started climbing down rows of sets till somone I'd passed threw a jacket over my head h help me in a bear hug. I had to get a pixie cut the next day. I was pulling 2' long hunks of hair off my head. The kids were made to cry.
Infusion was rough today. There is a new crew in the infusion suite. They were heavily booked & besides the usual 2 nurses, there was a third to help. And she talked nonstop. Loudly. Thank goodness the Benedryl with only 5 hours of sleep last night knocked me out for awhile but I was ready to shriek by the time it was over. It's always been really peaceful & quiet in there, which makes it so easy to get through. I've been getting infusions for 19 years & I'd put today on a par with the county prisoners in handcuffs with their guards sitting across from me starring without blinking. Which I always took as as a challenge. [emoji48]
The woman who was my best friend... R.I.P. Joni.....came from Pittsburgh. I'm close to Reading, PA, but I'm a transplanted Westerner. Born in Montana, grew up all along the west coast, San Diego, CA area to Seattle, WA and places in between.....
Oh, the steroids kick in immediately. It goes straight into the vein & from there to my brain. I could barely walk to the car 3 hours later & had to sit there & vape a few minutes so I could focus to drive home! (Home? Where is..oh looky!)But when the steroids kick in, can you go back and give 'em the: what for's big time
Glad you made it home. I can relate to the brain thing. Lol...not funny, but sometimes, you have to laugh. Have a good night!! Are you able to sleep? I had so much energy and needed little sleep and ate every chocolate chip cookie in sight and baked more!!
