And don't even get me started on concessions .. these days, you could practically go to Ruth's Chris for what concessions cost .. well, maybe not, but still .. ;)
You can eat reasonably at Ruth's Chris if you go during Happy Hour. They have really decent lunch specials.

Yeah. Shots are great but the color seems to be a tad washed out. Previous vids are much more vibrant.
Yes, but previous videos are all shot with a polarizing filter, and these are not. I may go ahead and open my purse for a $40 polarizing filter, even though I know they'll probably come down in price maybe two months from now, when other manufacturers start making ones that fit.

For laughs, there is a YouTube video comparing the picture quality of the Phantom and the X Star that caused me to invest in an X Star.

At any rate, I've never met a drone I didn't like, so the opportunity to experiment is OK with me.

YAY! I have just made my very first food purchase where it is going to be delivered to me right where I am!

Either that or the govt. They tried to get interviews with a lot of people on that show. Some were silenced. One thing they said is don't get sick there. If you do hope you can get to a hospital that has some kind of care. They showed people laying on guerneys in the hospitals because there were no rooms that was their room, they said they would never get one. They also showed what happened during the Sochi olympics which was by far worse. People were killed there. It was a sub tropical environment that they had to turn into a winter wonderland for Putin. They used slave labor from poor countries, no safety policies and if someone fell and died the officials would hurry and put safety gear on him after the fact. The Beijing was as bad and they are going to host the Olympics again in 2022. It's a real interesting show on how the people that make the big money is the IOC. They have huge mansions and beautiful offices that look like something from the Rich and Famous. They decide how much of the money goes to the country and how much to them.
I've been to Rio several times. It's a great place as long as your not poor. Of course either the beaches weren't as nasty back then or we just didn't notice. Both visits were with the Navy and I had a blast. Great place to visit and even knowing what I know now I would go back. Great people. The know how to party and have fun.

I saw somewhere that you select the gear with that jeep and the gearshift sets itself back to the neutral position. So if you don't notice the lite on the dash telling you what gear it'z in... oh well.

Just got this from my Granddaughter...

Your great granddaughter the 2016 CYO Pennsylvania State champion. I am so proud. I cried as i picked up the shadow boxes today with her jersey and with the documents from the senate. Her next goal is to get a high school championship in basketball and go to school to be a forensic anthropologist. She did keep high honors all last year while playing a undefeated season so maybe scholarships are in her future. I had Wyoming Area coach call me twice ti get her to go to school there because of basketball but she will stay with her friends and basketball team at Holy Redeemer.

:D

I want to see the new Star Trek movie also. Haven't been to a movie theater in years - always wait for it to get to Redbox, Netflix or TV...
We went to the 2pm matinee. 2 adults was $18.50 plus tax for a totalof over $20. One medium popcorn and 2 medium sodas was another $20. Over $40 total. We won't be going again any time soon. I have the home theater setup with a plasma TV and a really nice Pioneer 7.1 receiver, subwoofer and nice speakers. All paid for. I can rent a HD MOVIE FOR $4.99 as soon as it's normally released on BluRay. Nuff said?

We will be seeing the new Star Trek movie while home for 2 weeks. Hubby is a huge fan (I love it too). All our dogs had/have Star Trek names. GSD was Nirenberg's Deana Troi (Troi), Golden was Commander Riker (Riker), Belgian Tervuren Spock was Maplerun’s Trouble with Tribbles, Tasha (Yar) is Sky Acres USS Stargazer, Geordi (LaForge) is Biijou Luisant Kontinuing Mission. Maplerun, Sky Acres and Bijou Luisant are the breeder's kennel names.

Gotta be true to our roots!
It's a great movie and really should be seen j the theater as long as you don't have to take a second mortgage to finance it.

IMO, the latest reboot of the franchise melds a cast that is modern, yet still true to the roots of the show .. for me, the previous films peaked with "Wrath of Khan", which does not say much since I think it was the second film .. (and what .. ?? no dog named Khan with a Pocket Copy of the Kennel Ration Nutrition Guide for Dogs always at the ready .. ?? ;)) ..

Kobayashi Maru and luxurious Corinthian Leather .. ;)

Richardo joind with Shatner as actors that couldn't act if you held a gun to their heads. You'd have to shoot em. ;)

I have liked the reboot so far, but from the previews I've seen I'm conflicted about spending any money to see the new one, rather than waiting for it to hit Netflix or such. I'm growing tired of the seeming need (started of course in the old movies) to have the Enterprise destroyed every time we turn around. They went 5 years in unknown parts of space, and never lost the ship, but the movies constantly want to destroy it. Ahh well, I'll probably go see it anyway, once it hits the nearby budget theater.

As far as the pinnacle of the previous movies, It had to be The Voyage Home.;)
(said with tongue firmly planted in cheek by the way, we need to find a good tongue-in-cheek smilie, the wink just doesn't quite convey it)
3 years into the five year mission on this one. Apparently Star Fleet has a really good ship building budget, oh that's right, according to Picard, everbody works because they want to. Which is kind if strange as poker is one of their favorite pastimes. Poker sucks if you can't win anything. Might as well ply Old Maid or Go Fish.

My favorite Star Trek movie: Star Trek IV, The Voyage Home. I searched for a long time to find my favorite clip, which is when the Enterprise lands on Earth without the cloaking device engaged.... couldn't find that clip.... (Did you see that? No, and neither did you!), but it's still my fave clip from my fave movie of the series.
