Well try Luther. But if you thought Wallander was depressing you might think the same about this but I like cop shows especially British or like Wallander Swedish Luther is British. I really liked all three but like I say I like cop shows where a super thinking cop eventually gets his man through techniques that others miss.
I liked Wallander ok, up until the last couple of episodes. Can't say why. Don't want to give away the ending.

I do like crime dramas, British, American, or whatever. Like I said, if only it weren't for the ending, Wallander would have been fine. I often re-watch old series, like Midsomer Murders, Poirot, Columbo, etc.

Was it you that mentioned that the new season of Longmire was on Netflix? I'm enjoying that one.

You don't have to wait. Even driving a sulky would be fun. When a horsewoman wants a ride, people can get very creative. Watch this; it gave me tears the other day.

Oh My Gosh, that was a wonderful video. The smile on her face at the end of the video was epic.

lmao! Sounds kinda like my ex (son's dad) he was about 6 yrs old and was dressed in his cowboy outfit......chaps, holsters, 6 shooters (cap guns), cowboy hate, the whole 9 yards. Decided he was going to ride the neighbors horse. Climbed up on the fence, got on the horse's back. Horse just stood there munching grass. He kicked, hollered giddy up.....nothing worked. finally after the horse had raised his head to see what this pest on his back was........ he took the cap gun.......stuck it next to the horse's ear and fired. That poor horse gave him the ride of his life.......skeered the crap outta him.....and I don't think he ever got on another horse after that! Served him right! lol

Glad you're doing good. Hope you're getting lots of sleep. I'm doin as well as can be expected with all the storm systems in the area. Sleepin a lot though, which I reckin is a good thing. Just weird when this happens. But better than not sleeping :)
I never had good luck when it comes to horses. My neighbor just picked up a new piebald gelding. Says he will take me out to ride him someday. I'll wait ane see.

I've been spending an inordinate amount of time watching NatGeo, APL and any and all British crime dramas.....along with book in hand, almost to the exclusion of everything else except for a few outside activities I do engage in 3-4x a week.

My story about holistic medicine I promised late (very late for me!) last night.

Many years ago I had a Golden Retriever I rescued. He was my first obedience dog. He had bad hips so I brought him regularly to a holistic vet for acupuncture and chiropractic treatments. At one point I had a tooth extracted that just was not healing correctly. All the dentist would do was give me more pain meds, no thank you! So I brought Riker (yes, Commander Riker) for his Wednesday treatment. Doc B said "You look like s**t!". I said "I feel like s**t!". He asked me a few questions and went upstairs to his dispensary. Came back down with a small bottle of a holistic remedy. These are tiny granules of the substance, I forget what he gave me. A dose is about 10-15 granules. He said "Take some now and some before you go to bed tonight. Tomorrow, take some in the morning, in the afternoon, and before you go to bed. Then we will see.". So I did as he said. Took it Wednesday and Thursday and still felt like dog doo. But, Friday morning I woke up and literally felt light, like a weight I had been carrying was gone. The swelling was gone, the wound was not healed, but within days healed completely.

Bottom line - I must be a true b*^ch (female dog) if I need a veterinarian to heal me!

 I so believe in holistic alternatives.....my dil introduced me to essential oils and ever since she's been using them, my son, my grandson have little to no problems anymore with allergies. My other two grandgirls had something going on (don't remember what it was now), but with the combo of E/O she used on them, all traditional meds were totally eliminated. My newest grandbaby is good so far, and hopefully, she will remain that way.
Oh, and my dil also complained that they were lil beeches, too!

The first two years of medical school should be applicable to vet and human medicine.

Just an aside, can't help but being concerned about and wondering how lulu is doing!

... if I need a veterinarian to heal me!

Ummmm, pre-Y2K I did some deep research into vet OTC meds availability/application/dosages for human afflictions... truly surprising...

Vets do an amazing job dealing with non-vocal communicative animals. At least we can give some feedback to assist the assistance (just wish MDs would listen).

As to holistic regimens, I'm not as 'aware'. But, nonetheless, I have a daughter that fought some variation of ADHD or such for years (nothing destructive, just a lack of focus, like her Dad). She is now in her happy place and a dynamo without prescriptions!

So any personal info related to holistic benefits, please share! Gracie has been a cherished source of helpful info for a few of our porchers (I do need to pay closer attention to her shopping list!)

I would venture a bet that the first four years could aptly apply to both. It's only the 'end' of the curriculum where they are taught patient interface, governmental/insurance/drug company mazes and the consequential business aspects.

Please don't get me wrong. I can't give enough praise for some of our physicians/surgeons; my Bride is still with me!!!

BTW, what do 'they' call a med graduate at the bottom of his/her class?

Doctor...

I also have a yiddle story about vet meds....;) daughter was sent home from kindergarten with ring worm....not to be allowed back until it was gone. Rushed to the pediatrician....asked if we had a cat. Told to get rid of cat and given a prescription to apply to daughter. Rushed cat to the vet....yep, ringworm. Cat was bathed/dipped and follow up visit...no ring worm. However.....time is passing and daughter still dealing with it. After a few weeks,....back to the vet. Asked him if what the cat was bathed in was safe for humans and explained what I was dealing with. He explained he couldn't prescribe for people, but was going to give me some of it for the cat....and whatever I did with it at home was up to me...;) You guessed it....problem solved, ringworm gone...:D

Well we found out last night that one of our SIL's has less then 2 weeks to live they think. She had cancer and they thought they ha gotten it but recently found it in her brain and all over her body.
Oh honey, I'm so sorry! Is this Ginny's sister, or a brother's wife? Prayers for all of you

LOVE poirot! Hated that it ended. Watched all 13 seasons

I want to see that too! Heck, we haven't even seen the latest Star Trek movie yet!!
I wanna see that one too..... and the new Jungle Book. Now that's just wrong that y'all haven't seen the new ST one. :p

I never had good luck when it comes to horses. My neighbor just picked up a new piebald gelding. Says he will take me out to ride him someday. I'll wait ane see.
uhmmmm with yur pain issues, and not having good luck with horses, doesn't sound like you have any more business on one than I do.

Bottom line - I must be a true b*^ch (female dog) if I need a veterinarian to heal me!
lol you definitely aren't, but glad the vet was able and willing to help you.

The Wedding Ringer, 2015. Kevin Hart, Josh Gad, Kaley Cuoco, Joe Namath, John Riggins, Ed "Too Tall" Jones.
This highly entertaining roller coaster of a romantic comedy is absolutely worth the watch.
looks good, but I don't have Starz and it's not on netflix.

Just an aside, can't help but being concerned about and wondering how lulu is doing!
I know......she's been on my mind too. Hope she's ok. Don't know if anyone has contact info for her or not.
