Just the joints in the toes, foot, ankle...just joints. It can attack organs. They don't have jer on a DMARD, or NSAID? Steroids only?
Well she can't take the kind that ibuprofen is that's what started her stomach bleeding last time. That's an NSAID right?

It's an anti-inflamatory pain reliever like Tylenol. If she canvt take that there are other things. RA can effect your digestive system, kidneysn lungs, heart... just about any organ. That's why it has to be monitored & controlled. It's seriously bad stuff.

I don't know if I misunderstood the conversation, and I believe that some forms of Tylenol might now contain other pain relievers besides acetaminophen?

But, Tylenol used to contain just acetaminophen. Acetaminophen is not an NSAID.

Ibuprophen is also acetaminophen?

I think (not sure) that some forms of Tylenol might now contain ibuprofen, which would certainly confuse things, but ibuprofen and acetaminophen are the generic names for two different drugs. Ibuprofen is an NSAID but acetaminophen is not an NSAID.

I have just wasted a couple of hours of my life watching the first two episodes of MacGyver... I hate reviews, prefer to decide on my own, so.....my opinion matters not at all. To each his/her own.....but since I dislike it, it will probably run for the next ten seasons...o_O I can't stand the lead actor, can't decide if the whole thing is bad because of poor casting, poor acting, poor writing, or poor directing....

That's what I thought too she can't take NSAID because of her stomach.

Are you cooking the neighbor kids ?
Ha! Made me think of a conversation with my best friend. Geordi has been not feeling well. Not eating, blah, not "persistent play with me", low fever. She said "makes you miss those times you want to tell the kids to go play in the traffic". Yea, and get off my lawn!

Happy to report he ate tonight. Fever down. Looking forward to the persistence (read obnoxious, but that's what I love) tomorrow.

Hey how long can you leave the Brats in the slow cooker. I'm sure they are done 4 1/2 hours but don't know if we should turn them off or what.
I still believe in corporal punishment but, I would never put the brats in a slow cooker!;):lol:

But what if it's the private who has erred?

(Do the brats like lobster, start with cool water, they'll never know ;) )
