I write for fun not fame. My first book was serious, deep, with a bittersweet ending. I needed something a bit lighter second go around. I'm just a disabled altruistic nurse with too much time on my hands so I'm saving the world through fiction.

More than 3 is a collection, right?
In that case, I have lots of collections, mostly shells, rocks and crystals. I have a few pieces of Depression glass that belonged to my grandmother, both pink and green. Sugar and cream set (like who uses those anymore) and a couple of hors-d'oeuvre trays. Nothin' I could get rich off of if I sold them. Just keepsakes.

I collect dust.
LOL...Stay away from my Kirby.

I've never been a girlie girl either. No dolls, etc. I do have a lot of Depression Glass. All but a couple of peices are packed away, & most are less than mint. But since most are about 90 years old...
I do seem to be collecting Hex Ohms. And one kayfun version. More than 3 is a collection, right?
Me neither. :D

Haha! You funny. Me like.

The Faculty you mean right?
No, it's The Facility.

And now another review: The LadyKillers. Tom Hanks, 2004. Entertaining and funny, but then again, I'm a Tom Hanks fanboy. I'd seen part of the movie a while back but watched it start to finish today.

You might be surprised! I used all of mine almost daily until my mother & I moved in together. Now all of my stuff is packed away & hers is all out & used. Nothing like a peice of pie, dinner or bowl of ice cream in a pretty dish. I usrd my sugar & creamers, butter dishes, big tea pitcher, candy dishes & cookie jars daily. You might be surprised at what they are worth!

I collect tools. Yes I do use them but I am not slow to buy a new one if I think it will make the job easier. Sometimes even if the cost of the tool is more than paying someone else to do it. After all I might have to do it again and the person who dies with the most tools wins.:)

If we were stranded on a desert island or in an apocalyptic world you'd be my best friend. :)

The back porch is pretty slow last night and today. But at least I didn't have a ton to catch up on lol
The most active thread on ecf seems to be the deeming thread. Followed by DIY threads. I feel as though I catch up and five minutes later, 10 more pages appear. Can't imagine why ...

Yea, I used to have a lot of tools - still do depending upon your perspective of what is a lot - my theory had always been was that if I thought I might need it more than two times - then I needed to own it...

But if you have more than 3 of one thing, then you are a collector, Semi.

I can honestly say that I do not have any 3 of any one tool (I had to think this over for a minute) - a few duplicates here and there, but not 3... :D

That doesn't apply to 3/8 and 1/2 inch wrenches. They grow legs and walk away and as soon as you replace them they turn back up. I must have ten of each. I had to put a longer peg on the peg board to hold them all.

And screwdrivers.
Now that is too true. Had to dedicate a drawer in the big toolbox to hold them all. I misplaced them so often that Doree bought me a whole set and wrapped each of them individually one Christmas. Needed another set within 2 years. :)
