I didn't ugrade because of sll the crap they added. I don't want to risk my LT no longer being the one I paid for. I like it just as it is j don't want to start hating it.

Had an ol' fav USAF CMS dat whenever we had a 'get together' he always had a 'porkchop' in his grasp. Asked him once why he called a beer a porkchop; "Same number of calories!"

I like Popeye's .. even the beans and rice .. and I think Hardee's makes the best take out Biscuit's .. then again, I have to take what I can get, because here in Fly Over Land, the Southern Cooking is not exactly abundant .. you know what they say about the route to a Man's Heart is thru his stomach .. at my age, that's about as far as it might go, but hey .. Good Times Willin' and the Creek Don't Rise ..

Summer 1971 .. the best Mushrooms I ever had .. boiled into a thick soup like consistency by a young woman just South of Ft Myers Beach, FL .. "Here, drink this, Willie" .. Go ask Alice as I slowly dripped into the Rabbit Hole ..
.. and all Natural to boot .. Anybody remember Jaco Pastorius / Weather Report .. ?? Netflix has a pretty good doc up ..
That reminds me, I do have to admit that we have Sweetie Pie's in St Louis .. that's about as good as it gets around here for Southern Cuisine ..

Nobody on my side of the street is going to get much sleep tonight....the entire lane on this side of the street is blocked off....flood lights, a huge water truck, and some kind of equipment that appears to be a saw ??... with a noisy engine... cutting into the asphalt. Started about 3 hours ago and still going....haven't a clue of what they're doing it for...

Not sure what they're doing....thought about that, but water hasn't been shut off. Thought about gas lines as well, but I think they would have notified people if that was the problem...and I didn't see any of the emergency crews that showed up in my daughter's neighborhood when there was a suspected gas line leak...

Hope every one had a lovely July 4th. Willie those pictures were beautiful. I went for a walk and got so hot, I forgot it was the 4th momentarily so I came home and fixed Mexican enchiladas for supper. But they were delicious. (thanks Amy)
Did something today that I've never done. Took my ride and got it inspected. The little guy offered me a car wash which I politely declined until he said the magic word. . . FREE. I have never driven through a car wash before. I love 1st times!!!! Was not real impressed because it did not do such a great job but did I tell you it was free? bahahahaha
Also had an hot fudge sundae at MickeyD's with the man that loaned me the guitar that I have been sooooo enjoying. I could tell he was impressed with my calloused fingers.
He says I can keep it as long as I want and I believe I have found the guitar instructor of my dreams.
Just kidding.
