Okay, all caught up, finally! Afternoon, Porchers!

Luved the "selfie styled" mug shot UW! Reminds me of the song, "Dad, I'm In Jail & I Like It!"

A 'chick', I presume...

Well, from the "wish I had a camera" topic. A few months ago we lost the best dog we ever had "Buddy." Since then our cat has been wandering around the house looking for his friend. A month ago we adopted another kitten who uplifted us all from depression. Last night I stayed up late so I could change my waking hours back to night shift. We feed the cats in our bathroom, and one or both usually saunter in to check the dish when they hear someone in there. Last night (early AM) I walked into the bathroom and raised the seat cover. The kitten came running in and tried to jump up on the seat cover. After the splash there was an second splash noting the exit of the cat from the toilet. Needless to say, it was one of the funniest things in recent memory. Also, had it been a video, I am sure it would've gone viral.

Have a wonderful day!
Dan

IMO, though, it will still be available anyway... MS wants as many PCs as possible to have it so they can vacuum up all that data... higher metrics, more $$$ for them don't cha know.

That's one of the big topics on the net right now - most think they will extend it...

After the day I had yesterday (check the front porch) I ain't movin off this chair just yet.
But as far as food... Hate it. Keeps gettin' in my mouth!
Intersting ting about shroomz. If ya put the white ones in a pot, add a stick of budder and let em simmer for a couple hours... reallly werk for me. But that's about the only way.
Now take raisons. Pleeeeze! I kin eat a whole box of em. But don't even consider putting them in anything. Cake, cookies, wutever. They just doant belong there!!!!! Or should I say... their. ;)
Regular button mushrooms are null ops. They taste pretty much like what they're cooked with. Most people don't like them for two reasons:
1. The mouth"feel."
2. The fact that they're fungi. Watching films of fungus growing in Jr. High science put me off em for years.
;)

Cats are interesting critters. When my cat was about 18 years old I was experiencing hers and my first Iowa Snowstorm. I was looking out the window thinking "My God this is wonderful! I haven't seen this since I left home (originally from Michigan) since I was a teenager. I am finally home."

The cat however was thinking "What the heck is that white stuff flying around." In fact she ran into the glass of the sliding glass door more than once during the night.

So being the person I am I opened the sliding glass door. She ran right out and into a 3ft snowdrift. All you could see was her little black face. Then she ran back in the house complaining at the top of her lungs and giving me the "This is all your fault" look.

I've had to show various cats over the years that it really was raining out both the front and the back doors... and VERY familiar with that look!

@Ken_A I'm so sorry. I was right here on your birthday, meant to wish you a Happy Birthday, but started running my fingers about something else. Belated Happy Birthday!
Not a problem.... .I know all about being absent minded...
I used to be forgetful. NOW I'm absent minded. Later I will be senile. Nothing will have changed, mind you. They just call it something different depending on your age.

I'm pretty well bummed out...have been for a couple of weeks now....due to my own stupidity....

My mind tells me I'm still fairly young and strong....two weeks ago my body let me know the truth, when I tried to moved a wood bench seat.... "course , i took a tumble.... but luckily i landed on my left knee first...the "good" one... so now i'm back to using the walker and pain meds....and set my recovery back by a couple of weeks...

Somebody just slap me upside my head....

Never mind, all better::D

Three of my ex-husbands had...guess what...black hair and deep blue eyes! Wonder why i chose them:D

But they couldn't sing worth nuthing...
