Not a problem.... .I know all about being absent minded...
I used to be forgetful. NOW I'm absent minded. Later I will be senile. Nothing will have changed, mind you. They just call it something different depending on your age.

Amen to that brudda... I'm sure everyone I know has always thought of me as the 'absent-minded professor' - because I can remember 'technical details' from 2 days, 2 weeks, 2 years ago... and yet, sometimes can't remember what I had for supper last night, or some of my kids' friends' names!

Happy belated B'day, Ken!

@Iffy - PM awaits!

I'm pretty well bummed out...have been for a couple of weeks now....due to my own stupidity....

My mind tells me I'm still fairly young and strong....two weeks ago my body let me know the truth, when I tried to moved a wood bench seat.... "course , i took a tumble.... but luckily i landed on my left knee first...the "good" one... so now i'm back to using the walker and pain meds....and set my recovery back by a couple of weeks...

Somebody just slap me upside my head....

Never mind, all better::D

No slaps to da head, but how about a hug instead?
Sorry to hear about the tumble and setback, hun. Please, try to take it slow and easy? It hurts my heart to hear that you attempted a little too much, too soon and must now pay the price for it. :(

Having entered the Twilight Zone between absent minded and senility at this point (yes, they also call it "Having a Senior Moment .. ;)) .. as well as having sworn off birthdays a few years back, I still feel compelled to jump to my own defense in saying that, I did Toast you're birthday in a Previous Post .. I just can't remember which one .. ;)

Last month, I do remember mentioning my annual trip to the NAMM Convention in Nashville ..

https://www.namm.org/

There are some great videos of the talent at the show for anyone that cares to take a look .. :)

Nashville is a wonderful city, especially for music fans of all types .. much like Hollywood in some ways, in that about every second person you talk to is either a song writer, singer, producer, etc, and most are not from Nashville .. of course, 99.9999% of these fine folks are serving you dinner or bringing you a cocktail .. ;)

At any rate, the NAMM show is a cornucopia of musical goods, industry updates, meet and greet and a chance for me to socialize with like minded folks, many of which I have known for some years .. I am always on the scout for the new and different, which, at least in the past, helped me gain inspiration for what I might decide to do at some point .. now that my work has wound down somewhat, it's still interesting to see what folks come up with ..

Just for gits and shins, I present you with the latest in Guitar Maker Innovation, designed for the Player that (you fill in the blank) .. I tried my best to buy this, however, had no luck, so I'm seriously thinking of making my own .. it does fully function as an electric guitar .. does it do more .. ?? You decide ..

If ya decide to make one, let me know... somewhere, in some bag or box, at the bottom of a pile of other bags/boxes, I have a whole pile of those clips that hold together 30.06 ball rounds for a Browning BAR... (would you call that guitar a BAG? (Browning Automatic Geetar))

Now that I've thought about it for a while, I realize - I can hardly wait 'til I get to that stage where everyone thinks I'm actually 'senile' :drool:... that'll help automatically explain away my various idiosyncrasies without me having to waste time verbally going into detail... and they can just politely ignore me, leaving me to my own to invent/conceive of 'the next big thing'... win-win baby! :banana:

:) Only to those that I love and care about... people I don't know would think I'm mean and heartless. :lol: Those are the ones I'd tell to "Rub some dirt on it and keep movin'!" Or, as my dearly departed PawPaw used to say "I've had bigger scratches on my ****" :lol: I dunno what he was doin' with that thing to get it so scratched up, but I think he shoulda put more thought into that one! :lol::shock::lol:

Hahaha! Slow n Easy is when you kick back and get that cute l'il neighbor boy to come move the bench for ya while you watch, Darlin'! ;)

Sounds like someone wants a 3D printer. how about one for less than $100?

Does anyone have an upset tummy this morning? No?....ok...I think i can fix that....

Ugh! I can't even watch it! Especially now that it's right before dinner. I used to love amusement rides, one after the other! Somewhere along the line I'm nauseous .04 nono seconds after the ride starts moving.

Three of my ex-husbands had...guess what...black hair and deep blue eyes! Wonder why i chose them:D

But they couldn't sing worth nuthing...

So sorry to hear about your mishap. It is weird that our bodies just don't cooperate with what's in our heads. About 2 years ago Mike and I realized, about half way down the stairs with a large dresser, that we couldn't do this stuff anymore! Nice time for us to figure that out!

Take it easy and heal and then "think it out" before attempting to do something like that again. Can't have you getting hurt!

Thanks for the rollercoaster ride @oldbroad ! Where is that coaster? I remembered you had a bit of a mishap and am glad you're at least "starting" to mend. Now that Kazz has you on the right track, I'm sure you'll be just fine in no time AND have some "entertainment" too. ;) :)

That's one bad ax, UW!!! And oh yes! Ted CAN shred!!!

Afternoon everybody! :thumbs:
