Truck drives through crowd in Niece France. As many as 60 killed and over 100 injured. Police shot and killed driver who got out and opened fire on the pedestrians after running over dozens.
As Gary posted, the body count is up to 73 at this moment.
As much as I try not to stir nor participate in political 'discussions' on our porches (other than the deeming), I must ask, NOW, who is running on a gun control platform in our current election process?
Whiskey TangoFoxtrot(shame I had to do that due to BS censoring) disarm us and have us rely upon their 'ideology' to select who may have armed protection. PLEASE note, they have theirs!!!
Just when will Western civilization realize that we all are in danger and do what must be accomplished to protect their citizens?!?!
I'm just sick, pizzed and ready (again) to fight all enemies, foreign and domestic!
Pennsylvania vape shops are doomed. Our Democratic gubner is tax happy. He already raised gasoline tax using the justification that oil prices had come down. Now included in the new budget package he got this included.
"ELECTRONIC CIGARETTES: Imposes a 40 percent tax on the wholesale price of electronic cigarettes, including vapor producing devices and liquid cartridges, to generate $13 million."
I'm not sure yet if it includes Vape Shops having to pay the 40% tax on existing inventory. It might, that was part of the original 'new tax' on e-cigs.
I don't believe there's any new tax on on-line sales. And I'm hoping that they don't deem batteries as vape devices as my fav batt vendor is RTD Vapor and they're located in PA.
Now tell me exactly how they're going to collect it. According to US law they can only collect taxes from internet companies if they have a physical presence in the state. Otherwise they would have to physically examine everyone's phones to see what they bought. Downloaded apps are mostly free these days with in-app purchases to upgrade, subscribe, etc. As far as I know tax on zero is zero.
Don't know how they plan on tracking it ... but it includes downloads of books, movies, music, apps and streaming services like netflix. Our PA Dem Gub is tax happy.
Sweet! According to this new law I can go to jail or pay hefty fine for gear and nic I bought before the law went into effect. I must be able to furnish proof I bought 'it' from a licensed PA vendor who paid the 'wholesale' tax. If I can't I'm guilty.
And if I buy on-line or go across a state line an purchase from a B&M and bring it into PA - I'm breaking the law and can be subject to fines and/or jail time.
hehehe hadn't heard that moniker for it, but I like it!! Some of the best I ever had was made by a friend of my brothers........tasted like the best tequila I ever had!! I was waitin (patiently?) for the jar to get to me.......my brother looked at me and said ya want a sip??? (was the drool your first clue?) he didn't think I'd do it......I didn't wanna give the jar back!!
Glad you got the net back!! I'll have to look for that. My son has gotten some of the not your dad's cokes and stuff.......but I am also a rootbeer freak!! Love the stuff. that and Dr Pepper are my go to cokes!
heck yeah I am! I was so excited when I turned 30!! (yeah I know I'm weird). lol Was tired of folks treating me like I was a baby. Wasn't as thrilled about 50. Hopefully 53 will be good. (jup still a baby compared to some here, but y'all don't treat me that way). However........I'm not another year older......just another day older!!
now yur talkin!!! I don't like most things poured over ice nearly as well as I do when it's just cold or in an icy mug! I don't drink em fast enough for em to not be diluted. And some things lose flavor to me when they're too cold.
We made it. Stayed overnite at the rest area. Really nice place there was 4 motorhomes that stayed and no trucks or other cars came in. Pretty quiet rest area. I'm glad we did. We had something to eat and played a couple games of cribbage and went to bed at 9pm. Left there at 6am and got here at 10am. Motorhome is all set up so I might try and build one of my Tobeco clones.
I really want to try Not Your Father's Vanilla Cream Ale and their Ginger Ale, as well. I've heard that the Coney Island Root Beer is the best of the bunch, but I haven't tried that one yet.
My son has bought several of those. I don't know if it was one of those or just a straight coke thing, but one of the best he brought home was a coconut coke!! Ok, for those who aren't Texans......"coke" = carbonated beverage having nothing to do with coca cola brand
I applaud your taste! So since the phone and the case are yours........ then that means I get to use the credit cards.....right?? hehehe
Loved the re-do Gary!!
Thanks darlin......on both counts!! they can't fix it, but hopefully they can get some relief going. then again, I aint doin steroid shots forever, does too much bad stuff, but will give these ones a try.
AGT is NBC but I think they're not on again until next Tuesday & Wednesday. The Japanese illusionist made it through to the live rounds but we weren't as thrilled with his act this time.

omgggggg that's horrible!! I agree these folks aint peeplez! I've pretty much quit watching the news. Susan had to tell me about the stuff that had happened in Dallas.

Can I just take my vape gear and crawl under a rock now? More terrorist killings, more vape destruction, one thing or another the killing goes on. What is happening in this world? Beam me up Scottie!

So the wife wanted to move to the country, so I quit my job that I enjoyed, got a job i hate, moved in with my parents, now she wants to go back to dallas, caint win fer losin
Sent from a dark, twisted corner of the back porch, covered in cobwebs and slightly damp.
Well I'm pretty sure there's going to be a underground vaperoad in PA for sure. If PA gets the structure in place like it has for wine, spirits and beer (which can't be shipped into PA) it may halt the on-line vendors from shipping to PA.
I just may have to rely on my porch friends to be be intermediate shippers for our purchases. That or place all my order with China. I'm pretty sure they won't stop shipping to PA.

According to their website, Not Your Father's has the Root Beers (two versions. 5.9% and 10.7% ABV), Ginger Ale, and Vanilla Cream Ale. I don't see any other flavors on there. They should all taste like their versions of the various 'cokes'. I imagine they taste like root beer, ginger ale, and vanilla cream soda... I've only had the 5.9% Root Beer from them, though.
Coney Island has a root beer, a ginger ale, and an orange cream soda. I've not tried any of theirs yet, but they do have a stout that sounds pretty good to me if I could ever find it. New York Honey Stout Stout ABV: 8%IBU: 20
Tasting Notes A robust, full-bodied sweet stout. Heavily roasted chocolate notes are balanced by caramel malt flavor and the subtle sweetness of honey. Strong molasses aromas complimented by a subtle citrusy hop presence.
