I'm too far behind to even think about catching up. I hope that everybody is well. After ten days of working like a pack mule, I'm home. They can call me for overtime if they want to this week, but it's not happening.

We had an S92 that was hit by lightning on the flight line, so I was a busy woman while I was at work. It's a HUGE bird. Don't know if you can see this video, but they're on here.

Hey there! So glad you stopped in, but I hope you're not reading this because you're asleep! At least you don't have a job where you're bored!! And it's gotta be nice not to have to drive so far to get home after a long hitch!

Congrats on the release. It isn't in the Kindle store! :(;)

Yes it is. I bought it last night.

Okay, my MacGyver report. Well he was not MacGyver. It was kind of a B movie. Enough to keep you watching - hoping it will get better. A bit of over acting and like Kad said not the best camera crew. Will I watch it again - probably. There wasn't much else on!!! If it does not get better - then Friday Nights will be Netflix nights... :) I did like a couple of the things that he pulled off, but some were "Yea right"...

I'm wondering if they packed all that action in just for the first show. It was a bit much though, more like a comic book set of circumstances. I'll watch it again though to give it a chance.

Please hold on to one of em and an atty for your vapocalypse box. And when ya start selling the off, save me one! hehehe

The trip to Michigan was for the new grandbaby right??? Pics??? How come ya ended up going back after you'd gotten home? Hope nothing was wrong
I'm keeping one for home. My attys are ruined. Lost the cap for one. The other got fried when I nearly set the plane on fire. Sold the Nuppin already. I'll gladly send you the base for the one I lost the cap to.

I didn't go back, just been all over the state of Florida since I got back.Twelve hour days, hotels and laptops. Home now and marketing, getting ready for Sleuthfest 2017. I'm leading a panel discussion on couples in Fiction. I'm doing the non-romance couples piece.

I love the description, I take it it's kind of a comedy detective novel?
Bought and added to my collection, might be a while before I can read it, but I'll be sure to review it once I do.
Thank you. Yes, it's a serious action/adventure crime thriller with humorous undertones. Murder is easy, funny is hard.

Sometimes you want the pepper flavor without the tough skin and by roasting it you get that added flavor too.
Jup! Most folks peel em for chili rellenos, and often for salsa. I'm one that really doesn't care for the skin on cooked peppers for a lot of things.

Glad you're keeping one. Yeah if you don't want it, I'd love to have the base. Thanks :) Reckin I misunderstood bout the Mich. trip. Uhmmm you nearly set a plane on fire??? I had a feeling you wouldn't care so much for the nuppin.
So kewl you're doing a panel discussion at sleuthfest!

I've never seen a squirrel just lay flat out on his tummy like this. He had chewed open one of the cushions on a patio chair and was stealing fluff for nesting. Luckily it is patio furniture that my dil's mom gave to them, and the cushions are in bad shape, so they'd planned on replacing the cushions anyhow. Now we know they'll definitely need to store them in the house or garage when not in use.

Must be one of ours. They lay like that on our porch railing with their legs hanging over the rail after stuffing themselves at the bird feeder.

This video was great...and interesting! But, tell me, do all of you get paid double when you have to move that fast?? No wonder you're always whipped!

OK, so this isn't exactly new, but I did not know about these until today and thought it was cool. This is video shot from a gopro being carried by a quad copter made from Legos!
Not as good as @bigbells videos, but I didn't know you could build a quad from legos that could actually carry a camera. I want one of these just for the novelty, not that I have anywhere to fly one.

Strawberry preserves are my absolute favorite. I pretty much like strawberries in any form. Fresh strawberries are the best especially when they are extra sweet.
Happy birthday, Mattman! Hope things are going smoothly!

:confused:Why would anyone peel a pepper???
Green Chile Peppers get roasted, peeled & seeded. Then we put several in little snack sized ziplocks & freeze them for cooking with. BIL's family sends a big bag full every year & we do an assembly line thing. BIL & nephew roast them on the grill outside (some get the wood chips for a smoky flavor), & the rest of us seed & peel & bag. It's nice to ull out a little bag & chop them up to cook with.

I know a Corgi that does that. Eating the fluff, & laying flat on the tile or wood floors. He makes himself so flat he looks like a little Corgi skin rug.
