I'm all for holistic medicine, actually prefer it, however....Rescue Remedy did nothing to help the only little shih tzu I had who had anxiety issues with storms..... One has to try different remedies to see what works for their particular pet....;)

Both of my sister's dogs are afraid of thunderstorms, & the bulldog is afraid of fireworks, too. She uses something called Rescue Remedy by Bach. They used to make it for humans (Calm Child), but now market it for pets. It's a natural thing. She swears by it. She gives them both 1/4 dropper. They are both 75lb dogs. A Golden & a bulldog. She said a friend gave her shizhu 1/4 dropper & it knocked her out. So you have to judge by weight. You can get it on Amazon, but she gets it from the place that does their grooming & boarding when I can't do it.
Dang, I think I'll get me some of that to try. I don't have a dog.

Hey if you want to watch a Series on Netflix that is macabre try Penny Dreadful season 3 was just released. It is pretty weird.
Ever watch the Wallander series on Netflix. It's good.
Penny Dreadful was ok. Wallander was depressing!!!
I think I forgot to mention, Doree and I celebrated our 39th anniversary on Saturday. Damn she's a patient woman! It was low profile celebration. We exchanged cards and went back to work. Packing and such. Today was a motorhome day. The list continues to get longer. Tested the water system Saturday and everything worked except the toilet. Water valve worked fine but the hatch that opens to the holding tank didn't. It's 20 years old so rather rhan thinking about fixing it I just ordered a replacement. It came in today but the required gasket and closet bolts didn't. They'll be here on Tueaday. The terd locker (little room with the terlet in it) was carpeted so we snatched out the carpet yesterday and Doree laid new sheet vinyl flooring today. Meanwhile I had discovered during the rain last week that we had some roof leaks. Ordered some seam sealer and it came in today. Meanwhile Sunday I got up on the roof and scrubbed it. It looked like it was mildewed really badly but, it turned out the the top layer of the rubber roof had deteriorated so bad that the black layer was showing. Went up to Homely Despot and picked up 5 gallons of elostomeric roof coating. Today I did all the penetrations and seams with the seam sealer. Was going to do the first coat of coating today too but, looking at the weather, it looks like it's going to rain steady for the next three days. The coating has to dry for 48 hours so I have to wait untile the rain stops. Lota of other things to do so it won't be a break, just a different focus.
I can't wait until this is all over. The PODS arrives Friday and the loaders (bunch of Tori's friends) will be hete Saturday morning to load it. We'll be living in the motorhome Saturday thru Tuesday. As it stands now we head to Florida on Tuesday morning.
I'll keep you all informed. Love you all.:)
Love you too! Now I need a nap!

Exactly my point. Sometimes works, sometimes a different mix works, sometimes it doesn't work period. But no risk to try. When it works, it works. And there are many times it works.

Have another holistic story to tell.. Tomorrow.

Ya know Dennis I wished I could have watched at least the comments after on BBC or some channel that wasn't biased. The media is totally biased one way or another and they have a way of making people see what they maybe didn't see or that wasn't really there. According to ABC Hillary was an out and out winner, I didn't really see it like that. She didn't loose her cool although it looked like she might at some points. I just don't know anymore it's hard to pick between 2 people that you really don't like.

If you're still up, BBC did televise the debate and they're doing post-debate commentary as part of their news broadcast right now.

You don't have to wait. Even driving a sulky would be fun. When a horsewoman wants a ride, people can get very creative. Watch this; it gave me tears the other day.
Wow, that was incredible. The pure joy on her face was so heartwarming. Dare anyone with a heart to watch that without leaking! Thanks so much for posting it. The message was loud and clear, but still wish I could have understood the words even they weren't needed at all.

Hey is there another mod that is similar in size and weight to the TC40 that is a fairly good quality like the TC40 Ginny loves the TC40 but they are becoming more and more scarce.
Soooooo happy she's really doing well with it this time!!

As it stands now we head to Florida on Tuesday morning.

that's wonderful hun!! Just amazes me all you're doing! It's almost over!!

@everyone else, hope you're all doing GREAT!!! No worries here, just burying our heads in the sand so to speak. Love ya all!!!
Good to see you darlin! Love you too!

YES! Bach Rescue Remedy. Wonderful stuff! Flower Essences, used for all kinds of situations. I swear by it, even carry it in my purse and every first aid kit. It can help with, I will call it noise, phobia (thunder, fireworks, etc).
Bookmarked that cuz I know I'll forget what it's called.

@MikeE3 have you ever heard of vapeshop.com they are in Colorado. They have what seems to be a pretty good stock of TC40's even some SE ones with some different paint jobs or wraps for a pretty decent price.
they got an A for the security of their site from this link that retired 1 gave us.
