True. But the older I got, the smarter my parents became.:) I remember my dad telling when I was a teenager, nothing good happens after 12am. He was right. My most regretful moments in life happened just like he said.:D
My dad told me the same thing and I agree with you. After I hit about 25 everything he said came true.

To all in the hangout tonight. I had a great time. Thanks for not grumping about me monopolizing the conversation. I try not to but, have always talked to damn much. We should set up to do this on a regular basis. I would rather do it on a Friday or Saturday night but any night that is good for everyone is good with me. Goodnight all, i will see you in the morning. To quote Spock "You are and always will be my friends!"

I enjoyed Hangouts tonight so much! Really love you guys!!! :)

BTW, yesterday, Tibs gave me a great 'out' for the Supporting Member' logo that works like a charm!

She said to simply d/l Adblocker Plus from FF, and once it's installed, simply point your arrow to the logo, right click and voila....logo gone!

Now, I have a lot less white space in between the posts!

Thanks again, Tibs......

My Spock who passed away last December said the same to all humans, dogs, well, in the words of Achmed" I kill you! "

I had a great time too. Hubby was watching TV so I took my laptop to a bedroom to not bother him. Didn't participate as much as I would have liked to, bit come the end of June and July he is doing the Oklahoma City/Texas trip alone (very un dog friendly show sites and I won't bring dogs. May have a puppy then and that would be a nightmare!) so I can be on any evening as long as I want! Woo hoo!

I'm bad....

As far as I'm concerned, you can talk as much as you like......cause, you have interesting things to say!

And we had a tornado today!
Hope there wasn't any damage!

Good grief, 131 more messages to read before I catch up again on this thread. I just want to say how very glad I am for the Hangout.

If not for the Hangout, I'd be really depressed about the number of comments expressing negativity about today's younger people.

Being able to talk face to face with some of the people who are making the comments that I regard as negative leads me to believe that those people are not feeling as hopeless as I perceive them to be through the text comments here in this thread, and that is a good thing!

Personally, I think it's a never-ending cycle for the older generations to believe that the younger generations don't have what it takes.

I have always believed, and will continue to believe, that somehow, the youth of today will manage to find a way, just as we did.

Just a few sheds and a garage door that wrapped around a telephone pole. The tunnel went over almost the whole city, scary stuff! Blessed it was so mild.
so glad it wasn't any worse than it was and that y'all are ok!

Def some truth in what you said Bells about today's youth and yesterday's youth. I can imagine what the parents where saying about us during the mid 60's - mid 70's.
