Reo Woodvil
The woodvil are only put on sale about every 1 - 1 1/2 years from what I understand. I was in REOville lounge when it was 4:50 P.M. and the crowd was waiting on 5:00 P.M. It was absolute pandemonium. He goes OUT OF STOCK really quickly. You have the skills to craft masterpieces with wood inlay and mother of pearl.

If you google wood mods or wood box mods, you can see some really nice work. I've seen what you can do with a guitar, Willie, I have no doubt you could really make a legend with the mods. Rob has excellent customer service and a huge fan club. No doubt you would, too.

I made that comment the other night too. It's a wooden box that has a few cavities and holes carved into it, most likely with a dremel or a router and finished real nice. $200+ price. There is no doubt in my mind that you could build them as well as or better. It's a mechanical mod so no extraordinary circuitry needed. Can't bad mouth them though. They definately have their followers and they can be rather rabid.How much do those wood mods cost anyway .. ?? I just had a brain flash, maybe I need to start turning out some of those .. how hard can it be .. ??
Parts .. ?? Well, I can't give up much brain, because there are only so many cells left .. liver .. ?? Trust me, you don't want it .. and since I sport a One Pack that's out as well .. I've not really done a complete inventory on the rest ..

You could definitely make some gorgeous ones. He does have some parts of the Reo.....dangit, can't think of the office where ya register stuff so folks can't swipe it.....brain is gone at this point. But it's a LOT of work! The woodvil reos go for 235.00 to about 265.00 I think depending on the wood. Some other wood squonkers go for $500 - $600 Of course, there are regulated wood mods that are not bottom feeders to where you could do your own design and make them gorgeous

I second that. I order from Amazon all the time. Had ONE bad delivery... Hit the rating, submitted a report, and Amazon was all over it.
won't hit ya....cuz what you say is true. But the other part of it is, when it comes to bottom feeders, Rob has spent many years of trial and error, invested tons of money in equipment etc, perfecting the 510 pin, getting better contacts etc and of course, having some parts of it PATENTED......that's the word I couldn't think of before! (bet y'all figgered that out already huh) lol So he's the trusted source of bottom feeders, but I could certainly see non BF regulated mods that were made gorgeous!

I'll add my 50 cents worth...inflation ya know.... there's a lot of wood mods out there and a lot of them are gorgeous...who doesn't like the feel of smooth warm wood gently carressing your palms.... but us Reonauts, as we're called, have come to trust Robert O'Neil totally as he backs his mods 100%, is almost always available by phone, email and PM's and if we have any concerns and post it on the Reo forum somehow he knows and answers our questions right away. It's not just the mod that is unique, it's the maker.
P.S. Please... I'm not pushing the Reo, I know there's lots of vaping gear out there now, and that's a GREAT thing for us freedom-from-smoking people .WHATEVER we use to be free of cigs is what counts.

just repeating what you already read from others. I already multi-quoted your post. The iStick 50 is the only iStick that has the issue w/ auto-firing. The iStick 20 runs hotter then the shown settings on the screen. I don't know how well the iStick 30 regulates its power.

Another long time wood box mod maker here at ECF is the "Captain" over at Red Sky Mods. He makes some really fine looking wood mods, he makes bottom feeders and mods for tanks. He also makes them unregulated and regulated (some even w/ the DNA40 chip). They're in the same price range as a REO Woodville but from what I understand more accessible as every month or so he has another batch for sale.

Very nice looking - now for the hard question - What is the difference between them and the REO's?
Size of the fan base. Although Red Sky has an ardent following it's no where as big as the REO fan base. I've been following the RSM thread since I joined ECF. If I ever spring the $'s for a wood mod it will be an RSM. Like Reo, RSM provides really good customer service/support along w/ great looking mods.
The 'Captain' is very accommodating to his customers. Will work w/ them for wood selection and at one time he was allowing folks to send him wood blanks and he'd made the mod from their wood.
And like I said, if your not a sqonker, he makes them for carto/tanks or rebuildable attys. That and regulated mods (I don't know if Reo has a regulated mod). He's use SX chips, DNA chips and some others. I think most of his customers prefer the DNA chips.
There's probably a difference in size/dimensions. From the looks of the Reo vs: RSM, I think the RSMs are a bit bigger.
You can get a "sqwanking" 510 from Fat Daddy Vapes now. Hole in the center and all. Floating center pin as well.

So sorry you're having a problem. So far I've always had great customer service from Amazon, but I haven't had to return much at all. Hope you get it resolved quickly.
